Down to 1'33.859 in 30th place now. As expected, as more and more people start using the Muira, its becoming increasingly harder to keep my earlier #16 spot on the leaderboard. I suspect I'll fall even further when more people start making the switch. Good fun though trying for my best finish ever. (27th)

Sorry to break into the big league discussion but a untalented newbie needs some help. I was able to participate in the TT and get a silver night before last. Now when I try to use the same car it will let me run but wont accept any times. There is a red slash across rankings and regions when I go to the rankings screen. The car is still at 400pp, what have I done wrong.

Not sure what you have done wrong, but those Red slashes you spoke of have always been there, at least for me anyways. Everything is working fine for me even with the slashes so I doubt that has anything to do with your problem. The only thing I can suggest is just try logging out, turning your PS3 off, and start again.

I believe the red slash is there because we are not allowed to filter the rankings. Mine is the same. I believe It has always been that way.
Your time has to faster then your previous time to regester.

No, there is no minimum amount of time. I have improved by .001 before and it still showed up. Like I said before, just try logging all the way out, re-enter and see what happens.

You may have just gotten disconnected while running the event. That has happened to me before. If that happens, then your times won't register. You'll have to log back in.

Just knocked off nearly 2 tenths to a 1:32.594. I can gain a tenth on Rajman in the last 2 sectors if I can pull myself together there and can match him in sector 1. A 1:32.3 is possible now.

I see fierce battle for the top spot The yellow mustard Miura is on top, but maybe not for long if Doodle can put up a better time I see the lap could be improved at a few places.

No minimum just better. Odd that it won't accept. Did you try cargos suggestion back out and restart? I've had good results doing that when a game is acting up.

Ah... Newark many fun nights in Newark. I remember many years ago in Newark a few friends and myself were...Oops I think thats all I'm allowed to say about that story on this forum. But that's what happened.

I'm also chasing Doodles car and always beat him to the first corner and can then stay pretty close to him until the L/hander up the hill a bit where he usually pulls a few car lengths or so ahead.

Oh, did I mention I am chasing his Camaro ghost? 1:34.something.

I am now on 1:35.0 something. And closing, was #55 when I stopped earlier.

Unfortunately I could not save the Camaro lap. I have his Muira lap but cannot get it do 400 PP as I have hardly used it and doing 14 K is a tall ask. My best time with the Camaro is 1:38.4. Trying hard to improve.

After a quick tune on a shared Miura (thanks for sharing,)I've managed a 1.35:8 in only 5 laps 👍 well happy thought I'd share my settings.

Thanks for that Cargo. I see the Miura is averaging about 210km/h and has done a bit more than half the 200 laps.
So that's about 420km for the 2 hours. Crikey, long way to go yet.
That's probably more than 2 x 24hr races!

Maybe one will come up in the UCD, worn in.

I'm doing the 24 hours at Sarthe to do the same thing. Should be about 3600 miles in 24 hours, more or less. Maybe five days to get to 400 PP. As for the UCD, I've never seen one. Anyone else? Still a long time on this one, 11 days. Even if I don't do well on it, I'll have a 400 PP Miura!

Please do, many here, myself included, are looking for that little thing (or many) which can help improve our times.
I'll post the tune I am currently using when I fire up the PS3, letting it cool down after the 9 hr race.

Doodles Miura lap would be far to fast for me, he would be out of sight so quickly, so the Camaro lap just suits me fine, but I usually swap between it and my own best ghost.
I'm actually wondering whether it's even worth dirtying my own Miura's oil, it means the PS3 has to run for heaps of hours and I am actually on my 5th one due to previous ones dying. And considering the new one will be out shortly too.

Edit...I see Doodles has posted his tune which got him to 1:32.7, so there's not much point me posting mine at this time, I'll certainly be trying his and I expect many here will also.
Lets see how we go with it, and thanks to Doodles for doing so.

Think I will try it w/ out the chassis reinforcement though. Always hate adding that cause it's non reversible and usually tightens up the car too much anyway. I'll be happy just to check out what you have here (which will be a bit diff w/ out the CR). Not really lookin' for a miracle tune to smack time off the clock anyway. It really comes down to getting use to the ds3 config, driver line (braking, entry and all for optimal rotation/drive off).

Edit: After a quick go round .. This tune needs Chassis Reinforcement lol .. I made a few tweaks and made it doable. The main thing here is the tranny settings are much better than what I had. I may twist my arm and add the CR... we'll see. Great tune though! Thanks again for sharing!
