Thanks to all the jockeys here who are doing a stupendous job hunting down fractions of a second to improve - and kudos to all you members who have a sense of team spirit when it comes to helping each other be the best you can be.

Now, let's go on making time with that Miura.. . .

While the Miura seems to be the car of choice at this point, part of the fun of the TTs is to try different cars that match the criteria. My best time was with a borrowed Miura but I also try others, just to get a feel for how each one is different. Oink did his video in a Lotus, I can't touch his time at all, for example, so each driver seems to adapt to certain cars, not others. I've tried the Jag and found it a great drive, also the Shelby Mustang but neither one gets down to the Miura time. I think someone with the right tune could do very well with the XKE or even the Mazda 110. Both are a hoot to drive.

(Agreed. The sharing is very cool on this forum!)

My current time on this TT is done with Isuzu Bellet GTR, pretty slow but fun, but if looking to get on top, Miura is the current contender.

Another small improvement to 1:34:415 for 83rd. 5th out of the DS3 directional button users, just squeezed ahead of dalone.

Ridox, the tune on your shared Miura is pretty good. A little understeer maybe, but was ok for consistent low 1:35's.

Yes Sir I have heard just about everything and been called just about everything. I have a pretty good top 10 list of the most commom things I hear. I do have a friends list full of people that I truly enjoy racing with and they more than make up for the less evolved ones.

Might be funny if you created your own "Top 10" thread about that stuff...have to keep it PG of course:sly:

Alright guys. Here's my old Miura setup. Did a 1:32.770 with this. It's based off you0099's setup, but with several tweaks made to it.

Hey doodle, thanks for posting the tune. Is this what you'd call a "loose" set up? It's taken a while to get used to the tendency to slide but managed a 1:33.562 so far.

Hi all, i'm new on this forum.
My name is julian, i have to ask some help with lamborghini miura, i can't have 400 pp, but only 407 with 200kg ballast and engine to 50%.
What i have to do to get 400PP? can you help me please? thanks and have a good day.
Julian.
Enter it into the B Spec Nurburgring or Sarthe Endurance races and leave it run overnight. Should be down close to 400 by morning. Alternatively, enter it in the Indy 500 and start it again every couple of hours. Lowering the PP is faster on Indy but you have to be around the console to restart it.

I am having a problem with the specific event. The game freezes every time I select the event and gets stuck on the loading screen with the name of the track.

Anybody else facing similar problems?

I had that a couple of weeks ago. Cleaned my online cache and it's been fine ever sine. Not sure if Nat 3 will do that but make sure you're NAT2, just in case. Cache is under options on the left panel. You'll find it.
You could also try 'recover' in the options section, in case clearing the cache doesn't work. As always, back up your game to a flash drive, just in case.

I'm down to a 1:36.010 and currently in 243 position. Thanks for the Miura Ridox!

Ridox - tried to send this as a pm but it said your box was full and couldn't accept.
Please excuse the stalking.
I tried to send you a fr and borrow the Muria. I think I am now supposed to be looking for a message from you accepting the fr, is that right? If you can't tell, this is my first try at borrowing a car. Please excuse me if I have done anything wrong. :dunce:

Rajman just got a 1:32.301... but I've taken him back with a 1:32.253! :D This is a great battle and it might just turn into a 3-way fight for the lead because Amo is on his way. :scared:

Sick lap m8, congrats.

I've send to you a fr. if u can accept it :)

And congrats again m8

I was working on a Miura before, during, and after the update: no change at all. Also checked other cars - no change.

The big change to be noticed was the TT#73 Time Log. Playing field was levelled so we can now really test man and machine against track.

Remember - this is not a race against opponents - it's a race against time. There are no obstacles but what the track offers, and what the car balks at. To get any kind of honest data towards analyzing how good a line could be taken in a specific car with a regulated PP means we have to have a level playing field. It was a good change.

Nothing against hybrids - it was hybrids that mutated progress of any kind - and they should have a place in the game - but not as an uncontrolled item that can be forced into play when valuable data is to be gathered. Hybrids are fun, creative, and there is a lot of engineering know-how that can be put into it. Because one or two people misuse hybrids, doesn't mean all who are involved with hybrids are bad - they are pioneers on the cutting edge of a whole different horizon.
No doubt PD appreciates the unofficial 'beta-testing'. ;)

But abuse of regulations concerning testing when it comes to time-trialing is anothing thing altogether. That turns the game into tom-foolery.
Playing simulator can be fun when it is taken seriously.

You can move the ballast rearward to make it more alive at the rear/less understeer as stated on the tune :) I used no ABS to make the tune which usually favor a little understeer as I always trail brake, but I made it so moving the ballast to the rear will alter the handling easily. Thanks for the feedback.
