I was lucky enough to try out you0099's Miura and got a 1:32.870! :D Brilliant car. Surprisingly stable with the low amount of horsepower it has.

Great time there, downloaded you's replay and yours :)

Wow, borrowed a friends Muira and after a few hours got my time down to 1'34.679, good for 16th on the leaderboard!!!!!!!!!!! Kinda weird, but I'm on pace for my best finish ever in these TT's. My best finish before this was 27th, which was a while back ago as seen in my sig.

Does the car have high mileage ?

Does the car have high mileage ?

You know, I honestly didn't even notice. I just got in the car and started driving.

I looked into one of the top legit time replay, the car do have to have high mileage in order to be competitive, so it can get into 400PP. Here is a hint, some of the Miura has chassis reinforcement :D

Ah, good to know, thanks for the tip. 👍 And yea, I kinda figured that they would have to have dirty oil in order to get down to the 400PP mark. Now that I think about it, I faintly remember the oil light being on in the one I borrowed.

I can also confirmed that You's and Doodle cars are both legit :) I inspected all the installed parts and setup :D Feel like being a post race scrutineer :P So, aim to beat the top no1 legit in the world, currently held by Doodlemonoply

Yea, I also checked them out earlier. Curiosity got the best of me as far as the Miura is concerned so I had to do some scrutinizing of my own. :sly:

My Miura is currently racing around Indianapolis (200 laps) trying to dirty my oil. Sadly it is well behind the pack, oh well, as long as it does it's best.

Anyone know if that is enough, to remove 9PP. Some how I doubt it. If not are there any suggestions as to what is required?

I have the same question....or needs a week in N/ring...lol

My Miura was 408pp and after 200 klms went 409 pp....what really happens?

I'm guessing at least 8,000-10,000 miles..based on past experience in doing this on other cars.

Thanks for that Cargo. I see the Miura is averaging about 210km/h and has done a bit more than half the 200 laps.
So that's about 420km for the 2 hours. Crikey, long way to go yet.
That's probably more than 2 x 24hr races!

Maybe one will come up in the UCD, worn in.

Now that I come to think of it, new cars always add hp for a certain amount of km. That's a worry.

As far as I know, cars in GT5 starts to lose power every 5000km, the first 5000km, the car will gain HP ( break in ). You will need another 10000km to lose power and dirty oil to help shave 9PP. Let me give you a hint, with full ballast, you will need to go down to less than 160HP with more than 10000km on the odo. The Miuras at the top rank leaderboard all would have similar mileage and power, unless there's someone out there with 100000+km Miura :sly:

I've been doing the same my cars currently on 6500km it's down to 171 bhp so another 11 or so to lose

My Miura doing the same thing at the Indy 200 and it has only done 813km so far so I think bob can do another 200 laps and see what happens.

Ha ha, finished the Indy 500 and have gone from 409PP to 412PP and from 171hp to 174hp.

Anyway, it's not all bad news, I won $4,800. Hoo Haa.

And it's difficult to do a 24hr race here (Darwin NT) as the wet season has started and I have to pull all the plugs for electrics or they can get blown due to lightning.

Will keep going with Bob while I can but may have to wait until there is a Miura on loan to get a reasonable time.

PS, the Miura now has just over 900km on the clock after Indy.

The Miura can also be run in the Extreme events/European championship races, all roughly half hour races and easy wins for your two chosen bobs so always top prize money & exp.

Monza is the one to do.

Thanks Now', I always have close to 20 mil on hand so money is not the problem, it's just getting the miles up.

But it's a good reminder for me that I can have quick races in between storms as I always just thought about the Endurance Races before. Thanks for the tip.

And Ridox, 300,000km might be a little overkill as I understand that too many miles doesn't help. But I'd try anything to get started.

Unfortunately you can't loan the Miura, only put on share, but I might share it with one of my boys to get some miles up when I'm otherwise playing.

I expect that would work, but then again it may not keep the mileage when returned, anyone know?

The more distance, the more HP you can have as the torque is lower, PP values torque more than HP. If the car perform better with less torque and more HP, it would be advantageous. You can also reduce weight too, albeit only a few kilos.

i bought new camaro and install full suspension, lsd and transimiton, but no setup
i made easy 1.41
after few setups of this forum time goes down 1.39.2xx
i try to break 200km and change oil for few hp :)
and try miura of course

Nope, shared mileage does not clock up and is not kept on the car when returned.

Yeah, figured that might be the case, oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Incidentally, do the miles rack up if you can send to a friend, rather than put it on share? (I know you can't send the Miura to a friend, but just for general knowledge.)

edit....Have put Bob into the 9 hr race at Tsukuba. We'll see how it turns out tomorrow. Incidentally I used Racing Soft instead of Hard, regardless of the miles at least he might get a win this time, ha ha.

Hi!

Now I'm at 1:36.8 with the camaro and it doesn't make any sense to continue with this car.
I bought a miura and bspecs are driving it now.
I didn't change the oil after I bought it, I got it running right away. Is that ok or we should change the oil after acquisition?
I hope this mindless running will do the trick and the car will drop the power or else I don't have any chance for a good result this TT. I will share it the second it will be ok for 400pp. Hope you guys will share the miura, I have only 5 friends in the game (2months since I've started playing).

Thank you and good luck with this weird TT :)

So basically BSpec the thing to death till the last day or 2 of the TT .. Hope that's time enough to tuner' .. Then let it RIP! (RIP hot laps that is, not to be mistaken w/ Rest In Peace lol)

It's obvious, the perfect addition to GT6 would be a dyno. If this were a real scenario and it would be absolutely necessary to kill an engine (wear it down) to enter an event. The obvious solution would be to put it on the dyno where it can be monitored for the exact specs needed. And all the while doing so, the rest of the race team can be at the track with another vehicle/motor .. Not staring aimlessly at The goings on at a useless event (that could and should be done back at the shop) but instead it also steals good life out of a PS3.

...so in other words: they could at least have let the useless BSpec motor destroying event be simulated. While the driver in human form could still participate in other activity involving the PS3.

>lol

(Please excuse any sarcasm that may be harmful or misunderstood, the author of this post was up all night taking care of his 8 month old baby girl [who apparently has night and day mixed up] So playing Mr. mom on the weekends and now watching BSpec action...gotta love it!) :)

I am not sure if this is appropriate ... I wanted everyone to have easy access to 400PP Miura ( legit ) not a hybrid of course.

Here's how it started, while I was inspecting Doodle's replay and You's ( the owner, Doodle borrowed the car from You ) I also have access to all car's parameter, I extracted all of the information, then made a duplicate of the said car on mine. Everything is exact copy, from weight, paint color, HP, distance traveled, suspension, LSD and gearing. The process of doing this is through outside game method, but the result is the exact same legit car ( carbon copy ), down to the dirty oil status.

The car currently holds top number 1 legit time driven by Doodle. Would this be fair if I set up a new account with the car shared so everyone who wanted to drive the car can do so. If not, I won't share the car, and I don't plan to use it as I am happy with my Bellet GTR :D

And no, before anyone asking me to alter mileage or subtle tricks, I won't do that - NEVER. I merely will do this so everyone can have access to the same car as number 1, as running the car to lower the PP is very time consuming and tedious task - will need over 10000km at least.

EDIT : The carbon copy has no non reversible changes - no chassis reinforcement, I will leave this to the driver.

Works for me:)

All TTs should have only one car as option. That would make the difference between pilots. Please share that car, as long as nothing is modified it's fair.
I've send you a friend request.
Let's see who is the fastest pilot ;) :))

Sounds like a great idea to me as well! Please do allow me to send a friend req 👍
