Disappointing to see that #1 at Sardegna is cheating, as far as I am concerned.

Deliberately driving into the wall etc at speed with no attempt to stay on the track is CHEATING to me.

Haven't bothered to look at replays to see who is the best without driving into the barrier etc, what time they have.

Spoils the race for me having a cheat at the top though.
Wasn't it Senna who said "If I see a wall there, and I don't ride it to go faster, am I even a racer?" Something like that?! Or did I get that wrong? :boggled:

i3 makes my head spin, round and round and round.:lol:

heres my suspension tune.

Thanks for posting. Why front toe in and rear toe out? I would think the opposite (front out/rear in) would make it roll through the turns better because you get a larger radius on the outside and smaller radius inside. Definitely, not doubting your tune - your time speaks for itself. Just trying to understand. Thanks!

Outside wheels carry most of the load in turns, with this setup, front and rear outside tyres will follow a radius.
So the setup for right side tyres, makes car naturally keep turning left.
This helps the car to stay on the tight line needed on this TT. 👍

One tip for hunting that fastest lap,
Only every second lap can be fast
So take wide line to carry more speed when starting the lap. I think that the speed should be 147kmh when you are coming out of the last corner to main straight.

The day after my last post on July 9, one of my daughters was killed when her 4x4 left the road on a bush track and slammed into a tree.
She was on her way to visit her mother at a remote community here in the NT.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

Please be careful on the road my friends, you never know what may happen in just the blink of an eye.

Hi Dalone,
Sorry to bring this up late, have not checked in for a few days.
So sorry to hear of your loss.... I have a daughter and can only imagine the pain of loss.
I am 100% certain that your daughter is looking in on you, waiting for reunion. God bless.

Awesome! I got to .277 based on your other tune, and tweaking it a bit. I'll see how this compares to what I ended up with.

Just got 22.269.

8.644 in sector 1.

My settings are the same as sdi_03, except as follows:

1) I raised my front end to the max - 5.71";

2) I raised the Natural Frequency to the max - 2.0; and

3) I set Front Negative Camber to 1.0.

I guess a 4th change is brake balance - I'm at 0, but I don't think that matters.

Awesome time! Did the BB do anything to vehicle dynamics? Are you braking in the last turn of the throw away lap to rotate for the initial setup? I'm not braking at all - even in the throw away lap.

No braking for me either.
I think that bb affects steering always.
Feels like it anyway. It affects acceleration grip for sure.
so its not just the brake balance on this game.

22.257 with the same tune. I have no idea how people are getting almost .03 faster.

I stressed my tune until 22.280 then i will drive the most preferred by the gang, i.e. the @sdi_03 one.
Before that i would like to investigate other tools as no abs and/or other driving parameters as Force feedback,...
Maybe TX3 team is tuning these for the .03 faster records.

Ciao
