I know you're not the one uploading these, but respect to whoever does for putting up the CLEAN lap instead of the cheaters. All that work cheating and they still don't get the spotlight in the end :lol:

Also good to see you back @praiano63, hope you're feeling much better 👍

Subaru is a tricky car to drive. Lot more power than the Gr.4 car but less grip. Love the BOV sounds on downshifts though. I must say with such a short straight I don't think DRS adds a lot of time here, unlike the P1 GTR TT @ Lemans a while back.

0:53,939 and 46th place at the moment with @praiano63 tune, but I changed a few things to suit my driving style...

Here's what I changed:

front height 65mm (2,56in)
front stabilizer 3
front camber 3,0

@fordlaser
Got you for the moment, but I think it's not for long. You're very fast mate. :cheers:
Thanks for the tip my friend and by the way good time :cheers:, and I will make them changes and see if it helps me.

Thanks my friend :cheers:

my setup but not sure that is the exactly the same when i did my lap because I forgot to save it. But sure at 99 % and with the excellent gear box of @praiano63, Thanks for the share 👍

Now 0:53.954 with your changes :) :cheers: and I try to catch your time with another try again tomorrow, but I am just about at my limit with this TT.

Tight race between us. 👍 :cheers: Same with the limit for me. I consistantly lap around 0.54,00, but cannot improve.

@xtrax:
I tried your tune with the same result. The tune feels completely different compared to @praiano63, but it´s equally fast. Well done and thank you for sharing. Compared to your ghost I gain some time in the first and last turns, but I lose too much time in the middle section. :confused:

I mentioned @Famine a few posts ago, wonder if they’re on holiday or something?
No, I saw your message.

And that one.

And the Gran Turismo retweet and the original Red Bull Japan Tweet on Sunday. And it appearing in the Time Trial section of GT Sport on my Japanese PS account on Sunday.

I decided on Sunday that, as it's a follow-up to the original Red Bull Beat The Pro and doesn't start until Wednesday 14th, I'd post an article up on Tuesday 13th, just ahead of the start time. Which is today.

It's a direct follow-up to an event from earlier in the year, but this time not limited to Japan:

Update:
Down to 0:53,854 with some modifications to @xtrax tune. I told you it's fast, didn't I?
For me and my skills the rear was too lose, @praiano63's tune gave me too much understeer, so I tried to combine both tunes, sort of. Like swarm intelligence is in most cases bigger than the intelligence of an individual, which is me. :)
This is only true for my driving style, because as you can see, both are way faster than me with their own tune.

Here's what I changed from @xtrax's tune, but remember the gears are from @praiano63:

Rear height 120mm (4,72in)
2,75 2,65
Stabilizer 2 8
53 56
83 86
3,0 2,5
Toe in 0,20 toe out 0,15
200 250
50:50

@All:
Used DRS on the first straight before the first turn and on the last straight before the last turn. Gained a little time.

@fordlaser:
Only 1tenth of a second ahead of you. Come on mate, you can get me :cheers:

Just a fraction better with the settings a 0:53.950, but I will keep trying tomorrow.

Getting closer to your time my friend because I am finding a better gearbox now :).

I have just tried your tune for 45 minutes and it is a half a second slower than my best time, I just can not get to suit my driving style and the car is unstable in the rear for me sorry.

Yes, it depends on the driving style, it was good for me with this setup, the driving may be too different ... acceleration, braking points etc etc etc ... I'm sorry you couldn't improve your time friend
