I don't pay a lot of attention to the GTS TT events, but the Beat the Pro Max/Alex RBR one caught my eye. Then I saw the SF at the Nordschleife one... now that's fun! I was in the habit of running the Mercedes-AMG W08 around there to keep sharp and keep my hand speed and reflexes up while maintaining muscle memory and the track fresh... but it had been a while. Fun challenge... I haven't put in a real solid lap yet but will probably go back there after getting thru the RB Jr FIA race (pretty different driving style, don't want to mess up my touch with that underpowered Jr car...).

@fordlaser: Got you for the moment, mate. :cheers: But I'm sure that I'll be the chaser soon. I'm off for the weekend, but will try to improve on Monday. I enjoy this very much. Have fun. 👍

Here's my setup:

BB: +1
85mm (3,35in) 120mm (4,72in)
2,75 2,65
1 6
53 56
83 86
2,0 2,5
toe out 0,30 toe in 0,15

200 250

5 5
45 60
5 5

50:50

1. 4,258
2. 3,445
3. 2,861
4. 2,435
5. 2,094
6. 1,841
Final: 2,570

The gears are based on @praiano63.
I don't remember exactly, because I tried many different things, but I think I took @praiano63's gears, changed the final so that the 6th gear maxed out to 230km/h, changed the other gears and then changed the final gear to the above given.
Hope this helps someone.

@xtrax..... Mega Mega Lap :cheers::cheers:

@COLOMBIAMIGUE7 thanks :cheers: Improve again today now under 53.000 ;) at 52.950 :gtpflag:

Sometimes there was no replay for some drivers and I want always to know why ? Now i know; it happened to me.

There is no replay for this time :grumpy:

When i finish my lap , GTS blocked on gain screen (credits, miles ...)

And the only way to go out it's to close the GTS with the risk to loose my time. :nervous:

But by chance time was recorded :D and only the replay was lost.

Setup used with @praiano63 gear box 👍 :

Got under 5:30 at the Ring in the SF19. What. A.Rush.!

I might have a second left in the tank, but doing 3 or 4 laps in a row ages me about 10 years each time! So much fun, though.

Good enough for 554th right now, pretty happy with that. How those guys are in the teens is beyond me...

Hi @v8_pursuit I was watching Bathurst race and it made me hungry to do this TT again mate, so with the gearbox I posted to you to try. I ended up using your setup with my own gearbox and went a bit faster, and I am in 39th place using Auto :).

Hi mate, fantastic time. :bowdown: I will test your gearbox this evening.
You were at the Bathurst 1000? These Australian Supercars sound awesome. I have only seen and listened to them on videos. Would love to watch them in live racing.

So, here I am...

@COLOMBIAMIGUE7 and @xtrax:
I tested both your tunes. Both are very fast, I could immediately lap about 2 tenth slower than my best and after a couple of laps, I was down to about 1 tenth slower. But I couldn't go faster, because the rear is too loose for my driving style. If I could handle this, I might be as fast as both of you, but that is where the really fast ones (both of you) are seperated from the slower drivers (me). :bowdown:

@fordlaser:
I'm undecided regarding your and my gears. Your gears "feel" better, but with my gears I'm faster. :confused:
Nonetheless I couldn't improve today. I was only some thousandth slower than my best time with both gear-settings.

Tomorrow I will try again. :cheers:

Try to Lower the gears as quickly as possible when entering the curves, engage the lowest gear 2 or 1. that depends on your input, do not accelerate fully to get out of them in this case with the subaru you have to let it roll a little before speed up try to do it and I guarantee you will save time

Thanks my friend for the input. 👍
I will give this a try tomorrow. Your tipps are very useful for me.

When using your gears I can't get even get close to my ghost, but with my own gearbox I am level with my ghost :crazy:.

Hi @COLOMBIAMIGUE7 yes it is about having fun and improving our driving, and many thanks to you and @xtrax :cheers:.

@fordlaser and @v8_pursuit thanks to you to share your setup too. :cheers:

I tested all your setups including that of @COLOMBIAMIGUE7, @SSAuto and @praiano63. All your setup permit me to find the setup which suit to me.
:cheers:

Alone we can go far, but together we can go even more and it's more fun 👍:cheers:

@fordlaser, your gear box seems fast but I didn't improve as i need to change all my driving marks and it's now too late ;)

Another tip, if you check the replay of P1 and P2, they shift quicky, in case it can help.

For me the truth is very nice to publish the configurations because it is pure fun and I admire the generosity of all those who share their configurations without any selfishness whatever their position, it is about sharing and having fun helping each other is much more pleasant to compete

Hey my guys, some fine driving going on here! I had a lash at the WRX tuned super lap after a long hiatus, I have to say I had stacks of fun on this one. Such a sweet car to drive with some excellent tuning tips from Praiano and Xtrax. I managed a 53.954 for 4th position in Australia and 88th globally with my controller in manual setting, I don't think I can go any faster :)

It is strange I went back to praian63 gearbox and I could not get under 54 seconds with it, so yesterday I change my own gearbox again and went a bit faster with a time of 0:53.635, and I changed a bit to my setup below and it may or may not help someone.

@xtrax I would love to use Manual instead of Automatic but with my problem, I just have to get the most out of using Auto :).

Hi @v8_pursuit try my setup for me there is still a bit more time out there on the track for me.

I agree absolutely with this and I cannot say it with better words. 👍 :cheers:

I tried this and improved, but only until the last turn. There I messed it up. :banghead:
I was over 2 tenth faster than by best time, as you promised. As I said, thanks for the input my friend. 👍

@fordlaser:
You improved. Well done mate! 👍
I tested your gears again and they are faster than mine. As stated above, the tune was my setup with your gears.

So basically I must get this one lap together without messing it up. Then I can improve a bit. One day left tomorrow...
This is a fun combo. I enjoyed this very much.
