My personal best (made with @COLOMBIAMIGUE7 setup)

Just posting a quick reply to thank the master tuners who shared their setups.
I used Miguel's setup to a T and managed to squeeze the 48th entry on a 20-ish lap session just before the end of registration.
I got a top50 finish only once before, it was on gt6, the 500pp tuner cars @Laguna seca but it took much much longer than 20 minutes...
This setup was kind of a game breaker.
Good job

I just did my daily (30) miles on the Gr4 TT in the....TT and got a 38.377 for P15.
Looked at P1s replay, it's using asm and countersteer.
Can I be bothered to pound around this boring TT in the boring TT for a few tenths with nanny aids on?
It's a big fat NO I'm afraid.
Onto the Fuji Fake Taxi TT.

Hi (again) folks

Regarding the Gr4-TT:

It has been recommended in here to use BB at 2 or even 5. Yesterday, i set a time with what my Audi’s BB was already at, namely -2. Today i tried the (+)2 option, but i couldn’t match my time of yesterday; i was around 2 tenths slower. So i went back to -2, and managed to improve rather quickly by .111 to 38.401. Now; I don’t even know, what that says about my driving/-style, but i thought i’d post it for a broader approach...
I then tried to turn on the ASM and weak countersteering, that is used for toptimes -apparantly. This immediately turned the game into something less worthy of being called a Racing Simulator; the realism was gone and it wasn’t any fun to drive at all.
So i’m going to try to take away the probable .1 without aids one of these days...
Congrats to fordlaser for a remarkable run in the previous TT
(It’s been so long, i don’t even remember how to tag in here anymore...)

Ah ok, when I said 5, I meant -5 all the way to the left, my bad but I think for ultimate times, the BB should be reversed mid lap. :dopey:

Figured I run the "real" GT4 type cars.

C7(Camaro GT4): 39.1 2104th place
SLS(AMG GT4): 39:4
Cayman: 38.9 1489th place
M4: 39.1
Vantage: 39.0

Jump in the Scirocco, the initial lap: 38.7 984th place. Ridiculous.
Retsart the TT and set a 38.546. NO adjusting BB. Just set TCS 0 and drive.

This car is certainly a bit of a challenge. :boggled:

@COLOMBIAMIGUE7 Excellent time, Well done!
I'm sure it's a very good tune. Thank you for posting it. I will have to try it tomorrow. 👍

@SSAuto I have done well using your tune. It is fast and handles well. Thank you for posting it. I just subscribed to your youtube channel today. 👍
I made a few changes to your tune to better suit my driving style.

Thank you my friend, try it, I know you will improve your time .. If I manage to enter the last corner well, you can achieve 1.59xxx or less

Gave it a shot. Did a 2:01.989 on my intial lap. Picked the last time in the 1:59 to follow. Changed my 1st & 2nd gears and went a little quicker.

Need to play with my anti-roll bars. Early days, but good stuff.

Edit: Dropped to a 2:01.410, for 45th.

Hello everyone, I'm really struggling with this TT at Fuji. I can get only to 2:02,571, where I'm for two days without improving.
Thanks for everyone who shared their tunes. I tested all, but nothing better for me. Had this in past TTs, this car and track doesn't seem to suit my driving style or skills.
I think I have to practice some more and I need to improve my braking points.

Funny and strange thing: I said that I will post my tune, but as I wasn't improving, I didn't. My tune, which gave me my best time, is similar to @COLOMBIAMIGUE7's. Only my toe settings differ. Even the gearbox is nearly the same in max velocity in the gears, although my numbers in final gear and max velocity differ completely. So the difference is our driving skills. Well done.

@waukazoo: Interesting settings for diff and gears and a great lap.

This car and track combination is challenging but, don't give up on it. Your are a good fast driver you hit a block thats all. It's not a bad thing, it happenes to us all.
Look at this as a learning curve to become an even faster driver. Put the tune on that you are comfortable with have set a good time. Stick with it and just concentrate on driving. Don't overdrive the car you have to drive the track.
You will get through this, there are 11 days left, plenty of time.

I just used prairano's tune for the Crown @ Barcelona earlier this year. That was with max power/min weight though so it's a bit understeery for Fuji. Softened the front suspension a bit and adjusted gearing and it's pretty good already. I'll give all of your tunes here a try next week :)

Special shout out to Colombia for the last WRX TT as well. I can't break below the 54s but with your tune on my first lap I instantly got 53.5, then lowered it to 53.3 in the next few laps. All the other tunes are good but yours has the ability to rotate the car which is crucial at Tsukuba. Only 1 place off the fastest Aussie, but happy enough with that :P
