It actually gives you 9-10 days, not 1, because this TT ends at 19th of December.

Oops, I overlooked it. Okay good, now I feel better. I'll start working on it next weekend when my week is free. The thing I dislike about Maggiore is that some corners are tight and blind and you have to find an even more strategic way of getting a good time in the top 10,000 players. I won't choose the meta car, I'll experiment with various cars and see which one can help me the most on this track.

After 5 days, ~1,200 miles of travel, two doctor appointments, an MRI, myelogram CT scan, and spinal tap (!), I finally got home today and put in some laps at Lago Maggiore. I didn't put a whole lot of time into it. I'll blame my slow time on a combination of fatigue, a sore back, and minor headache. Oh, and clearly an incorrect paint job!

But same point as for @Lomic: without an appropriate livery 🐄🐮 , you'll struggle to gain another second (minimum)!

I also got into the 2:04 club, yay!

... but mainly because PD apparently forgot to implement any track limits? 🤣

But I'm not complaining of course. This was with a 1:05.740 split, and immediately before that I had a 1:05.650 which I threw away of course.

Once again, the game loves to dangle some fresh grass (or whatever it is that you're into) in front of your nose.

After my cat woke me up at 06:30 AM miaawing like crazy and had the feeling he was telling me something I went downstairs, on the stairs I noticed gas smell, came down whole groundfloor filled with gas!, and the stove turned on, luckly no spark but seems a platic box that was standing on the stove pressed the button due to its weight and the cat turned the nob or something.... that was scary and I'm very aware of what could have happen... not to self.....nothing on the stove anymore!

Had my first 1:05.6xx on thr backstraight but yeah....again...last sector.... I lost a minute for my feeling 🤣🤣

True, the Bull isn't the most friendly to handle, but it's definitely the fastest here. Can't explain how I managed to tame her very quickly, but I did.



Speaking of glow and cow, my leaderboard have been nicely redesigned during lunch time and now, it's really look like a real herd:

On this lap, I left "some" tenths here (S1) and there (S4), so it's still possible to improve this score... But as @Lomic would say, I hope it holds till the end...

Had a go in the Lambo this morning, but finding I'm faster with the G70, which is to say, not quite fast enough. First lap back in that car and threw away a 2:05.200 with a one pixel error on a corner that I don't think I've ever over-cut before 🤦‍♂️ ... Almost as fast as my PB in the rest of the session and optimal improved by a half tenth but still not seeing the chance to get this under 2:05 - final corner is my nemesis. Clearly at my skill limit

Seems like my gold time for the Mission X @ RBR time held, so that's splendid! I then did a lap of the X2019 @ Nurburgring 24h and got a time of like, 6:45, so to get into silver range, I'd need to shave off at least fifteen seconds. Still, I think I could get it with some more practice. I would've done more laps during that initial session but I had to head out for a meeting with a female friend - which went real well, by the way.

That's good mate. Maybe if you keep pushing you'll wind up somewhere in the top 5k-6k. You never know, things are always possible. You also have to have a positive mindset when it comes to racing and competition.

I'm actually fine with getting bronze for this one, since I think the bronze prize is doubled to 500k credits. I'd rather take some time to do the S2000 @ Grand Valley time trial since I haven't even attempted that one yet.

Feeling peer pressured to join the herd, I went out to find the fitting car cow and met this white-bearded old man from the alps on eBay-kleinanzeigen. When handing me the keys, he just smirked and exclaimed with his Bavarian-Austrian accent: "It's kuhuhl man" and hopped away into the distance. Apparently this cow has racing pedigree and has seen quite the action before developing a serious chocolate addiction during retirement.
