I actually enjoyed driving this Mission X.
We are similar in terms of results but I did not enjoy driving this car, so I did not try to get gold, silver it was too.
Fortunately, there's the beautiful S2000:
Still in silver there too, I need to go back.
PS: I'm still building up the courage to even try the Nurburgring TT... don't even know if I want to spend time with it, probably just go for a very safe, slow, Bronze and that's it.
I did one lap and got bronze, it is intense... I want to go back but I want to do other things too 😅
On the other hand, I'm definitely interested in that Gr.4 TT!
It is very cool, even got gold 😅

Yeah... it's scary to do a TT on such a LOOOOOOOOOOONG track with so many chances and corners where everything can go down the drain! It has to be so frustating to loose your lap on those final corners... I'm not sure if my mental well-being is prepared for this
But on the other hand, it's really hard to pass on those extra 500k credits so... I might give it a go (but with AT and TCS and pretty much every other assist I can).

So I know my G70 doesn't look like your cows 🤣🤣 but for me it suits me !!! I hate being part of a herd of crazy cows contaminated with EPO or steroids !!!! 🤣🤣🤣
And I will not give in to the siren calls !!!! 🤣🤣

New test in Lake Maggiore and improve my time at 2'05'718

Our mad cows are less mad than the one who posts a video about Eiger on a Lago Maggiore TT....
#JustSaying

(very nice score, my friend)

Adding to @Talon16 @Lomic @Pesselles about what car to use.
I kind of disagree with the rating some of you gave to the lambo and to the Genesis. To me lambo is very drivable and forgiving, while Genesis is not. I'm much more conformable with 4 wheel slide than with happy tail.
On the other side I superstrongly agree about picking the car that allow to give your best. There is no right or wrong, it's just personal, so @Meltac go out and try couple of them.

On the personal chore side, today I reached a double gold.
My bull lambo is following your cow lambos but I guess that will never reach them. So no happy party😕
After seeing @Doodle replay (kudos, what a lap) i implemented something that would give me another 3 tenths, if I only put it in a white lap.

I also lowered by couple of tenths my highway time. I hope it stays

That's really funny as I find the Genesis so much relaxed and easy than the Lambo 😅

This TT is quite "old" by now, so it looks like a decent margin. I need to go back (and learn everything again).

Yeah very please with the 2 first ones 🤣🤣
But yeah..... there are 3 🤣🤣
Holy cow, you're faster than Tidgney after the 2nd sector. That's REALLY impressive :odd:
The 3rd one is also killing me (I saw soooo many 28.2xx today).

If I could stick my 4 best sectors in the same lap, I would be very close to your score. But no chance it happen.

You clearly deserve a STANDING OVATION

Sub 2:05......yesssss.......
Third sector....Nnnnoooooooooooo
🤣🤣🤣
Split on the backstraight was 1:05.715 😱 but I definitely stuffed up the final sector 🤣🤣
It's in there for sure!

Little achievement check @ 2:04.922
But satisfied h*ll naaah! 🤣🤣

Lol, thanks for the laugh Jomar, your livery is amusing. Mooohhllyy, the track bully wins!! Cows are awesome, now I'm gonna be tempted to create a livery like that and burn the track with a low score. Watch me!! Don't worry about the mistake mate, you did an excellent job, don't be hard on yourself.

@250Cal I find the cow liveries and content funny and amusing to look at, makes me motivated to grind even more in the TT challenges.

Out of school for December which means time for GT7, and I picked the worst TT to begin my "comeback" tour with!

I stepped right into the RB at NB 24hr and it's, well... something. If "something" means being more frustrated with a TT than ever! And this one is intense, especially in VR. I don't know if my neighbors could hear my yelling or not, but there were some loud moments for sure... haha.

I knew better that to start here, and knew the stakes are high in this one, but went in anyway. Haven't even spent time with the S2K at GV or at Maggiore yet... just a few hours in the RB lamenting my life choices.

In the beginning I was in the 6:40s, and after a bit I looked at some fast laps and noticed everyone was out braking me by a LOT. In turn one others are braking at 75ish, whereas I was lucky to get things hauled down braking at 150. Stepping out and into controller settings I was only getting 76% braking! I have no idea how long this has been a thing (I can't remember the last time I looked at any of my pedal values), but it looks like my braking has been neutered for a looong time. Like, months or longer.

Now I had to erase a lot of what I was doing and completely recalibrate to the car actually braking as intended. Easier said than done. I don't know how many invalidated laps I've done, but it may be in the hundreds. I'll have many runs where I don't make it out of turn one, and lots where I don't make it to the Nordschleife. It got the point of diminishing returns after about 2 hours of constant lapping, so I had to step away from it for now.

That's where I'm at for the moment. "Only" three seconds, but it feels like an eternity. I'm sure many of you can relate to the feeling of really nailing parts of a lap while watching your ghost disappear behind you, only to make a mistake and throw it all away.

I see that most people have moved on to Maggiore from this TT, and I get it! But I'll be putting in the work here before getting into those "easier" TTs. They will likely be a nice, relaxing time compared to this one!

Hi,

Wow! I have enjoyed myself this afternoon. All sorts of things "clicked" for me. Shaved 2/10ths off at Lago Maggiore, now down to a 2:05:6xx. Another opportunity tomorrow for more improvement as the weather here is horrible. Wet and very windy.

A little off topic...

We keep cows here. We have 55 of them. They are, truly, delightful animals! Friendly, clever and inquisitive. I always name them after famous people. Singers, Actors etc. I have now decided to name the next batch after some of you folks!!! I am soooo looking forward to this! If you would like a cow or bull named after your PS name - Please PM me. I will send you photos! 😀

Meet Greta! She can run like the wind itself. She loves her head being scratched and she loves to play with me and the others in the herd.

Best regards to all here.

Ian.

Welcome back LSFDRX. It might be too late for me to enter this TT, I'll have to miss it. My ps5 got delayed due to the Christmas holiday. Everyone is buying up the consoles, games and controllers/items from Best Buy and other retailers. I won't get it until Monday, and my games/gt7 won't be delivered until Tuesday, that's only giving me a day to post a decent time at Maggiore if I even attempt it. See I have to set the internet connection and ps5 up which shouldn't take long. I see you got a nice decent time at the Ring, great work.

@Ian JB Wow cute animal you have there, cows are so sweet and adorable.

Well today was a nice session intertwinned with watching the GT7 World finals (TGazoo cup & Manufacs Cup) on my PS5. Despite some Gateway timeouts for the livestreams lol, Here is my improved time at Lake Maggiore TT! The GTR is good but my pace is better with the Lexus.

Video too if you wish to enjoy!

I went back out with the mad cow.

I kept missing the final apex which was losing me anywhere between 0.25-0.3sec each time.

Also messing up a lot of other sections too 😂

But finally grabbed the bull by the horns to set a decent lap, still messed up the downhill hairpin and the final apex though 🤦🏻‍♂️ probably would have been a 1:05.3xx if that hadn't of happened, but hey, I'm still in the herd with a dear friend 😉🐮

Welcome on board, my friend!!!

Your great score is not a surprise to me, as I know you're fast with or without an awesome cow livery^^

Here is another scientific evidence that a cow livery is the key to enter the top of the leaderboard!

STANDING OVATION !!!

I tried to drive my own car until the cows came home, but the TT just didn't have enough for this TT. I traded it in for a Lamborghini, but I couldn't drive it very well, so I swapped that for a Hyundai. Painted like my own car, it's almost fit for running with the bulls.

Bravo, impressive score with the G70!!!

May I give you a kind and friendly advice?

Open this link:

and thank me later!

You're welcome ^^

2nd session in the Lambo, improved my time quite a bit, I just got in the zone and figured out couple of corners that were bothering me couple of days ago, so this is currently where I'm at :)

193a340d26751-screenshotUrl.jpg

Before this lap I did a .504, with a much faster first sector (.944 compared to the .052 on this lap), and right at the end I finally managed to take the second of the double right handers in S4 properly, so I believe in my third session I'm going into the .3xx zone, we'll see :)

Ahhhhh... less than a second away after about two more hours only driving the RB19. Gotta step away from it for a bit again, but I think I can do it. Congrats to all of you putting in sub 22s while while making it look effortless!

Toughest TT ever.
