Testing some others Gr3 and BRZ with less power it's my car... Can get 1,41.246
In two days we will have Rally GTWS N.Cup and I'm more excited

@rheinaoi I ran the McLaren and I have to say it's a solid car. You can get on the gas early, even without traction control, and it holds its line really well through these long sweepers. It rotates really well through the tight turns and has nice acceleration. I was able to drop my time by .7 after only a few tries with it. Now my fastest is a 1:43.6, which is not all that fast (let's be honest) but at least I am in the silver range right now.

I really need to learn how to take the last turn much faster. I can not take that turn with any confidence. I either drag the brakes a bit and try to go through it in 4th or I stab the brakes and drop to 3rd and upshift on my way out. Either way I feel like I'm taking it way too slow.

Yeah, the Mclaren is a great car. Planted and predictable, yet agile. A zero-nonsense track tool. I may revisit it before this TT ends.

I've been having the similar issues with the last corner. My frustrations with the car class, the track and myself were getting the better of me. That me try to shove whatever I was driving through there like it was a Group C car.

That corner is one of those "go faster by going slower" turns. What worked for me was coming in slower (97~100mph) and holding the throttle steady for slightly longer. My memory is foggy on what gear I used, but I believe I leaned toward a lower gear for better rotation and being in the shouty section of the rev range.

I didnt'have much time this weekend because i had my eyes checked out with fluid, so was kind of blurry and light shy so the alarmclock at 6 AM this morning for a 1 hour session.
Started with the BRZ again because it drives quite easy and wanted to get it to be as fast as my RSR but after 30 minutes i came clolse to my 911 but just not over it, it's not quite my car, i want it to be, but it just isn't.

then hopped in the 911 again, god what a beast it is, for me it def DOES have some sort of torque understeer and you loose some time on that but that grip and rotation on lifting off is a fine line and can be very fast, stil having trouble rotating it on the hairpin, then again, all BoP GR3's her do.

My pure demon here...... last 2 corners...... i just don't get them :indiff:

I did mow a bit of lawn at the exit so lost def some time here, but i'm a little closer to the 40's @Dan_Tes

Let's go #teamRSR

This is me after 1000+ km over the weekend. So close but so far. I seem to have reached my limit with this time trial. Extremely difficult to set consistent laps. I doubt I will get the gold on this one. If I do get a chance, I will post a video of the lap for analysis and tips.

 thanks, thats a better time than with the wife next to me ....

I applied to the aliens but they say I'm still too slow, they stated

"Dear Gomario, that's not going to happen, dream on, we will meet there.

can you also share your lap on showcase and tell me which words you typed there so I can find you inside the game and give you my feedback if you want

Had a quick go over the weekend with the Lambo I'm just loving this car at the moment, managed to get down to a 1:41.3, there is definitely more in the car, put a little video together with the overlay still on if it helps anyone!

That's rapid! How you've managed to tame the Huracan is beyond me. I always find the tail end tries to overtake me under hard acceleration...

NICE! I already feel like the RSR is going to be my car of choice too, hoping to jump on later today for a bit!

I think that's what makes it quick, it really wants to rotate all the time. I think you have to apply a little throttle and wait a split second before then going full throttle, that's what I tell myself anyway!

I'll have to give it a bash tonight and see what kinda times I can post with it. I'm loving the Jaaaaaaaaaaahhhg at the moment, and trying to see if I can manage gold with it, but seeing your time in it makes me want to jump into the Huracan. I've got mine dressed in a Duracell livery, so surely that'll make it faster?

BTW, @MikeyMarquez I've sent you a friend request so I can have another rapid time to aspire to in my friends rankings!

Hi everyone! I think I’ve been away for far too long…
Just bought GT7 last week and decided to give it a go on the current TT last night. I really like the track and the GT3 cars. So after a couple of tries ended up with a 1:44.xxx. But unfortunately I’m “driving” with the Dualsense controller. Man, I need to get a new wheel!

Welkome 😁, nice o see you jump in the TT first thing 😁
Controller does not have to be a bad thing 😏, I'm on DS4 and race the h*ll out of it 😁🤣

Good luck!

We all know livery makes the car faster!

Nice! When I'm next on I will accept, should hopefully be today or tomorrow!

I'm on controller and use TC1. How much time is TC costing me? I know when I randomly turn it to 0, I'll sometimes get a best sector time, but I inevitably will hit throttle too early and lose time spinning wheels somewhere and simply can't put together a full lap with it at 0. I'm stuck at 1:43.33x, although did shave 0.24 seconds off my time this morning using lambo. I need to watch some of these TT guide vids to see where I am losing so much time cuz where in the world are these people finding over 4-seconds!?!

Hmm, honestly I consider myself being just an average driver so I don't find 30.5 first sector time being so fast actually. I will often get 30.3 30.2 on first sector. And if you had 1:41.7** lap time that means I have to improve my last two sectors. 😁

To be clear, I don't feel my sector 1 is strong at all but it was clean, Midnight's looks a right mess and he matched my time so he's probably highlighting that I am too slow. The rest of my lap was very strong so I think to beat my 41.7 I need to find time in sector 1.
911 understeers??? I have found it to be the most neutral car I've tried.
I think the 911 throws people a bit as they have great confidence in the back end and try to get on the gas too early. It does understeer badly on exit, there's no tyre slip at all so you better be pointing the right way when you floor it. Folks need to let it rotate for a milisecond longer. I can't get any other car into the 41's.

Said it before and will say it again, every Group 3 race I take the McLaren out, absolutely NAIL a lap, it feels perfect..............and it's a second down on the 911. Must be pig slow on the straights. I'd love to use it but the time is just not there for me, ever.

I should build it up, just set it to 0 and don't look back, learn how the car behaves, it took me somany miles to get to know the 911 again, and ofcours i have made some pirouettes, I most of the time by hitting the gras on exits ) but i think GR3 cars are quit easly drivable without TCS, just get a good feeling for 25% throttle, 50% etc etc, and be gentle sometimes building up throttle in corners
