@praiano63 's is a good start. I'm on controller myself, you don't need CSA with it.anyone with a good setup for controller? made a mix of praiano's and somebody else's... but nothing better than 1.30.8xx without csa...

You need to go back a page, to before entering (don't click the green tick). Then go to leaderboard and click on a name and you will get a replay option.I'm a bit confused in how to get to see the replays of the top 10 players in the leaderboard!
When I press 'X' on a top player, I get 2 options. Load ghost & view profile. I click on load ghost & the ghost loads. When I return to a menu prior (the main page of the TT), if I select replay option, I only get the option to see my replay.
So I'm confused as to where to see the replays from because replays of the top 10 users imo is a great tutorial of sorts to learn about braking & turning points.
Now I’m even more confused (see my previous post).Something very interesting happened. I thought to test @sdi_03 tune 2.0 and I am pretty sure copied exactly same settings, however, value is slightly different. You can check images. I needed to boost power restrictor to 88 to reach 443 horse powers. I make one test, retry, make another , drive few laps, set new PB, thanks SDI!
I turn PS off and grab breakfast and then come back to try again, I see game tells me that oil is worn out so I change oil and even wash the car. I go into TT and game tells me I am now above 443 horse powers. 🧐 So I go into settings and change back power restrictor to 87 and car is now again 443 🧐 strange, it's either some bug or oil change influence it?

Yes. If you use your own car (as opposed to rented) then oil will be used. Use enough and don't refill, and it will affect power. As you carry on doing this TT with that car, do a few 100 miles without changing oil and you'll see the HP (and PP) drop.oil change influence it?
Wow, didn't know that.Yes. If you use your own car (as opposed to rented) then oil will be used. Use enough and don't refill, and it will affect power. As you carry on doing this TT with that car, do a few 100 miles without changing oil and you'll see the HP (and PP) drop.
I used SDI's tune + Praiano's transmission + my engine tune and did 1:27.566 with PS4, DS4 controller, ABS on, CSA strong, Manual transmission, TCS 0, no rollcage, wide tiresanyone with a good setup for controller? made a mix of praiano's and somebody else's... but nothing better than 1.30.8xx without csa...
Now this is what I like about those tuning TT's, 3 gears and down to the 27's, great job!I used SDI's tune + Praiano's transmission + my engine tune and did 1:27.566 with PS4, DS4 controller, ABS on, CSA strong, Manual transmission, TCS 0, no rollcage, wide tires
At the bottom I added what gears I use in case you want to try this exact setup.

Never pushed myself in a TT than I have in this one.
Not a fan of tuning due to the ridiculous exploits people find. Anyway decided to try this with a tune I found. So all in all cost me about 200000 credits to buy & build the car. Defo need a gold to make it worth while now.
Slowly but surely I was knocking the time off each lap. 1.31.5 - 1.30.9 - 1.29.6 etc… I felt like I reached my limited when I hit a 1.29.6 yesterday. Tried again today and went a little quicker but still couldn’t get that 29.2 to get into good time. I loaded up a 1.28.9 ghost to follow and after a few attempts managed to set a 1.29.055. So far this good for gold and hopefully enough to keep me gold. Don’t think I have another few tenths in me.
@Uday9479 and everyone else. This is how to follow any ghost that has been uploaded to servers. For me following the top 10 ghosts are pointless as they are halfway up the road already by the time I hit T2. Finding a time closer to my times is more beneficial
I did have it on. I'm not even sure what time I would have with it off. I didn't have it on in the beginning, as I didn't know about it. But halfway through I saw the top times have it on, I didn't bother to continue trying with it off.I would say turn on your "gimmick easy mode" and see how much of a difference it is for you in the end 😏
Wheel or controller?View attachment 1240779
Quick session with @sdi_03 ’s tune. I like it, with CS strong it’s very quick! GT7 physics are so oversensitive n this case CS strong actually makes the car feel more natural than without the ‘assist’..
An easy 1:27 is possible with this tune IMO, I was 0.5s up on my PB before a catastrophe in the corkscrew ended up in a rage quit.
I’m gonna focus on this tune for now unless someone finds something categorically quicker. Thanks again @sdi_03 for sharing the tune amigo, top man!!!
Can anyone please post/forward this tune, i can't find it anywhere...My previous struggles must've been the tune.
Ditched the one I was using and used Kie's tune. I was able to get all three accounts into gold, with a pair of 28.8s and a 28.7; all three within .044".
Hopefully that's the end of it!

WheelWheel or controller?
I don't know what exactly countersteer assist does but it doesn't cut power.. The icon flashes all the time (like the ABS icon) but I notice it most when I get oversteer AND I countersteer, when I do this the countersteer assist seems to kick in and avoid loss of control. It's a bit agricultural but it does stop you losing control on unpredictably oversteery cars. I think if you don't countersteer yourself the car will still lose control but I'm not 100% sure.I started with Mistah tune and found it a bit understeery for my taste.
I usually run with all assist off but Abs. I learned to be cautious on the gas out of the turns, probably too cautious, an this is costing me a lot.
I moved then to gt Italia setup and did not find too much of a difference. (Crap... not being able to feel differences make me feel bad)
Moved then to Praiano and quite instantly felt way better. I'm now at 30.5x, quite good at sector1, average at sector2, quite ugly at sector3, particulary at corkscrew and following turn. I have to study there!
I'm thinking to use countersteer, as advised by some of you.
Is it just operating the wheel to try to avoid the spin, or it is also cutting power?
I'm asking because I used it for couple of laps and saw the white badge turning red here and there without any apparent motivation and without feeling anything on the wheel force feedback
I got it down to 1:31.181 now. Thanks.@2Quickrides
I saw an error. My aerodynamic downforce that I use are 120//210 and not 102//210 as noted in this table. Thanks a lot for your beautiful table.
