Yes I just got silver in the Fuji gr3 TT have this become easier cause before it was by luck if I got a bronze?
The RBR and Fuji were done in like 4-5 laps each......I wish I could say the same 🤣🤣🙏🙏Another 300km added to the Olympcs, and a 1:15.9 is done. In fact, from what I've seen of my laptimes after this, I can probably even reach for a low 1:15.8xx. But for now I'm very happy with this. Here are my times (the RBR and Fuji were done in like 4-5 laps each, likely won't bother with them anymore):
I wouldn't want to imagine how extremely difficult something like the X2019 at Road Atlanta or the NSX-R at Nurburgring would be if they had a 1.5% requirement for gold.

Gold is 3% on the top time, if the world record changes it's still 3% so you have to give it another goWhy?
I'm trying to gold Red Bul Ring in Alfa. The Gold Time was 1:40.533 so i did 1:40.486 but now Gold is 1:40.360
Why this is changing ?
I'm fighting the GR010, i tried 3 controllers but i keep running against the same problem, don't know what it is,
sometimes it just doesn't get my steering input and then suddenly it does sometimes
tried to show it on video but it's not that clear what happens, but in both videos i'm at full steering input on DS4
Should i buy more downforce or a 4th controller???
So my 17.0 still stands
Yeah it's quite annoying, and unpredictable, it's not always, otherwise i could not do a 17.0, but it completely kills you lap immidiately.Definitely something not right there. No obvious understeer, looks like a problem with the algorithm that determines how much steering input maximum input gives?? Not good if so for an ‘officially licences’ competitive event but that is the risk with esports I guess! 🤪
Will be interesting to see if anyone else reports a similar problem. Did you say this was on a PS4?
What is this sheet? Can you share?Given all the updates provided, I thought I'd share mine too.
Decent time at RBR so will leave it at that unless I somehow gold Deep Forest, in which case I'll come back to it; great combination.
Okay for gold at Fuji but would like to spend more time on it; it is a track that I need to get to know better.
Deep Forest would be gold but for the odd decision to make it harder to get gold by reducing the gap to number 1 from 3% to 1.5% for the one TT where the world's best will give their absolute best in a once every blue moon event, while at the same time changing bronze from 10% to 20%. I'll keep pushing but need around 0.4 seconds to feel safe. It will be tough.

@half_sourly periodically does some statistic summary for time trials (mid-term and at the end usually) like in this post: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/time-trial-discussion.409515/post-14002664What is this sheet? Can you share?

well.... i have no idea how you are doing 1:15'sAnother 1000km at Deep Forest and managed to cut my previous time by just under 0,1 seconds. Time well spent. Now at 1:15.904, optimal 1:15.6xx. Have no idea how the top guys are doing 1:14s.
Endless repeat. Thanks!well.... i have no idea how you are doing 1:15's
Great job!
I have hard time to see. I guess YouTube compressed video. Are we supposed to see that red dot that shows steering angle?Yeah it's quite annoying, and unpredictable, it's not always, otherwise i could not do a 17.0, but it completely kills you lap immidiately.
Then even when i try to restart it sometimes hangs and is frozen, but the dashes of the current lap ( above all the other laptimes ) are still blinken on screen...
i'm indeed op PS4, after i shot the video i lowered my time on Fuji, so controller still works
But it's quite irritating, and i'm very curious indeed if someone else reports similair

Do you have more than 1 controller connected at the same time?Yeah it's quite annoying, and unpredictable, it's not always, otherwise i could not do a 17.0, but it completely kills you lap immidiately.

True, i am on a slim, so 720p is the most out of the youtube indeed, hard to seeI have hard time to see. I guess YouTube compressed video. Are we supposed to see that red dot that shows steering angle?
Can you share in the game and give us keywords to find replay?
I am not on DS4 so I can't tell, but there are still issues with controller that I told about earlier, in my case on DS5 when I drive through turn and hold either accelerator or brake (L2/R2) and all of the sudden it can totally "fall" to 100% like someone cut power supply to it. And with motion control steering turning, still there, but it seems impossible to reach out to PD and report this behavior.
mmm, interresting, i wonder if it's a PS4 thing, but then we should have heard this a million times allready cause a lot are still on the 4 i believe, have you got any "freezes" to on that particulair TT?Not just you. I've been trying to figure this out for a few days now. Most of the time, the car just won't turn. I've got loads of understeer, the car just ploughs on. Then on corner exit, with a small amount of steering applied, it's like I've suddenly thrown in a larger steering input and the car just spins out. I've been trying to watch replays to watch the front wheels, but I can't get the right angles. ETA. Braking seems to make the car straighten as well - no brake bias changes have altered that.
I've tried different controller sensitivities and different controllers, no difference.
As far as I can see so far, there's no way of adjusting anything to try and work around it. The only time I've felt anything like this before is when I've done custom tunes and run the front suspension too low/soft and the steering has fouled. Something definitely feels off.
mmm, naah don't think so, there a 4 controllers in total, 2 old ones and 2 new ones from this year, one is like a month old and i only use it for GT, ( cause the kids press toggle to sprint on fortnite has created some stickdrift on earlier controllers ) so i replaced them and the blue one is GT onlyDo you have more than 1 controller connected at the same time?
Hi,
I, for one, am a big big fan of the "invalidated" lap - as opposed to a time penalty! This means I can continue with a lap and not ruin the following lap. I would love to see this implemented permanently. Just for the Time Trials obviously. Its a much better system IMHO.
Best regards to all here.
Ian.
Well, yeah pretty much I always screw up the last hairpin when I'm on a new record run. On a slower lap I'm having no problems being fast there but whenever I've nailed the first two sectors I either take it too cautiously or spin. It's like a mental thing I can't get over and it happens every single time.they drive faster

One thing I've found out is that I get slightly faster lap times by setting the brake bias towards the rear.
That's not new. Yes, there are two different dates depending on where you look.Looks like the end date of the Olympic TT has been moved to the 22nd May (though apparently the date in game is the same)
