Prefer the Gr.2s myself. The MP4/4 is novel but does nothing for me, driving it.
The MP4/4 around Interlagos is a principle thing. Would've been great; a lost opportunity by PD.

Regardless, I am good with the combo. Pretty comfortable around Interlagos so I am hoping this is an easy 2 mil.

ETA - Any news on what the next TT will be after this one?

I'm kind of curious what cars a competitive on the top, i hope the field is more divers then the last one, and i'm certainly going to try to gold it twith multiple cars :)
I would have thought the three '16 cars will gold it easily, and the older GT500 cars will be possible but maybe more effort required. The Merc and McLaren however - they're not geared for short twisty tracks so I can't see them doing that well here.

Without seeing the leaderboard, I'd rank the Super GT cars:
  1. GT-R '16
  2. RCF '16
  3. NSX '16
  4. SC430 '08
  5. GT-R '08
  6. NSX '08
Then again I've not really spent much time in them under BOP TT conditions.

Had a look and so far, the top times are in the 1:23:xx and its a mix of GTR 16 and NSX's so seems like it could be a nice mix to try. Did 2 laps each using CLK, NSX and GTR during my lunch break. Best times were 1:26:6, 1:26:1 and 1:25:3 respectively but obviously will invest more time later/ during the week.

You could be right about the Merc and the Mclaren, maby they surprise us under BoP, the RCF was a nice car to drive, did the Lago M mission with it, but that was before the first physics update, so i don't know how it handles right now, but i think your list could just be on point, we shall see!

Down to a 1:24:8 and good enough for a Top 500 time, which will last around another 5 minutes until the aliens login and start posting 1:21's 🤣

I've got maybe another half second in me if I put in the laps. Did around 15 so far with the GTR to get this time...

Aliens already put times like Pirata so it will be improved maybe 0.2-0.3s ;)

Well I am here to eat crow. Actually had quite a hard time with this combo. The Gr2 car is so tail happy around this track; coming out of turns you really have to ease onto the gas. Maybe because it's a slower track (aka, a lot of tight, slow turns) and the Gr2s rely on downforce? I didn't have any issues around Fuji last week and it also has tight, slow turns... but they was on RS.

Anyway, took probably 20 completed laps (key word there: completed  ) to get into the 24s with a 24.6. #1 time would have to be a 21.859 to bump me out of gold.

Now, to do it all over again on the #2 account.

ETA - Got a 24.608 on 2nd account. Hopefully they both hold!

Not going to be spending much time on this one. Another stupidly annoying placement of the penalty line, so it ruins 2 laps and makes you waste 90 secs or have to reset your session. There are going to be times when you outbreak yourself or drift a bit wide on an exit looking to maximise speed. Will get my silver when the aliens settle down and move on.

Managed to get bronze in the RC-F after several attempts. Interlagos isn't my strongest track and I still haven't really nailed the middle sector or else I would've gotten a better time.

Just set a 1:24.380, this one isn't so easy to control wheelspin on controller. Currently 501st on the leaderboards. Reckon I can hit 23s by the end of this.
No TCS I imagine?

I'm on controller as well... Not using 1st gear anywhere, and 2nd gear is really tricky. Tried turning on TCS and didn't lose much time, but a lot more consistent laps!

Time trial = TCS off... If it was a race, TCS on hehe

Number of participants grew again quite a bit on the DragonTrail one.
Pretty much each installment has bigger number than the previous one.
These TT are very enjoyable so probably right that they are popular.

And the DT/Gr4 was also the one with most gold/silver by a mile
Didn't really get the time to improve from my early gold time unfortunately.

The new one seems like hard to gold, but not so much to silver.

Also when I opened the TT screen I did get the 2M credit, but I didn't get the screen telling you your final rank.
Wondering if I skipped it by mistake and if others got it?

You guys are fast. Last time trial gold was no problem for me. Was +2%.
Here with the group 2 cars my best time up to now is a 1:26:6. :-(
Hey, don't worry too much... practice makes perfect.
the Gr2. GT500 are a bit "special" they have an outstanding downforce, but this only takes effect at certain speeds. This can mean that you have better grip in some corners with more speed than if you were driving slower. In addition, the z. the Nissan is a little diva on the brakes. A little too hard on the brakes and the car is reluctant to go into a corner. Immediately there is the feeling of being too fast and not having any grip on the front wheels, but it is often more the brakes that prevent steering here. Releasing the brake far enough in time can allow for better behavior. Just test it and if you notice it...practice...practice...practice.
