Here are some statistics for TT30 in Gr.1 Group C cars at the 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit.

Highlights:
  • Participation was up from the recent dip and above average.
  • This was another tough TT, with only 4.5%, or less than half the average proportion of drivers getting gold.
  • Silver was also tougher than usual but more people than usual got bronze, leaving the proportion with no reward around on par with the average.
I've cut the first 10 TTs off this table now else is becomes a bit long.

Drivers with gold in all TTs
The number of drivers with gold in all TTs to date dropped from 127 to 126.

As usual I've split the graphs because the high early numbers mean the later low numbers are barely legible when all the data is on one graph.

  • I did not spend as much time on this TT as I would have liked to, with being away for just over a week while it was on.
  • However, I am happy with the time I posted in my limited run, at 3:22.474 in position 290.
  • That put me in the top 0.24%, 1.72% off #1 and 0.5% off #100.
Easily the best finish for me, landing at exactly 5,000th place! 5th gold I’ve landed since following this thread but first since GTAm RB Ring, so feels good. Especially since all the other golds I got were on TT’s with higher than average gold placements.

When you get some free time would you mind sending me my results again? I can’t remember where I got one of my gold times lol

Looking through the posts here I see my silver time held (just) at le Sarthe, so I'm happy for that! Now back and can start having a go at Tsukuba, might even look at doing the Watkins Glen one! I won't know WG very well, so if I can post a decent time at Tsukuba quickly, I'll get stuck in to learning WG.

Fantastic track, worth spending the time. The circuit experience is very helpful, especially to learn the track limits - there's a few corners that'll trigger the penalty easily.

Mostly you need to figure out the chicane - get that right consistently and you should do good laps. It's a nice one as well, compared to the CoD for example.

I've golded the CE way back when, but I've not done a lot of racing on it since. Hopefully it will come back easily. I remember the first and last two corners being the most critical for lap times.

Didn't we have a Corvette at WG a while back for a TT??

This one is going to be hard to gold, I'm not sure my silver will last to the end either, but I have 13 days to try more and with other cars as well. :)

BOP seems pretty good on Gr.4 at present so you've the option to try a number of cars to find one you like. I only had a quick go earlier (Silvia, 458 and 650S) and had opts. in the 1:55s within a handful of laps. I think this is going to be a pretty easy gold for a lot of people. 3.4 seconds is a big margin on a circuit like this.

Concentrate on a good exit from T1 to gain all the time on the long flat out section and then a good line through the fast chicane and you should be in good shape for a decent lap.

Bye bye Le Mans, it was fun to spend the first trials to figure out what car to use, get kidnapped by C19, one of my favorite childhood car, and being able to silver it. Also it was unespected to by within the 10% in terms of all users standings. it happened to me only 3 times (this, Laguna with Mustang and Ring with Cayman)

Happy to proceed with Tsukuba. Here I'm very close to gold (103.06%), but very far in all user standings (22,86%)

Wellcome Glenn: one of my favorite tracks with my favorite group of cars.
@djolliea, @Gomario JSP, @Dan_Tes : I know that previous sentence is giving you an immediate pressure and feel yourself in danger of being lapped by my blazing speed. Just relax 1) in TT there is no lapping 2) favorite doesn't mean I good at it

Let's see. All I can say that Watkins Glen is  not my favorite track but I do like having a time trial with gr.4 cars for a change. Off to practice ->

Decided to try the meta jaguar and yeah, it’s meta for a reason. New PB 1:55.605! I think I might be safe with gold with 1.086 buffer, hard to imagine someone gaining 1.1-seconds over current best time.

I am rather new member of gtplanet and was quite late for the LeMans TT. Thanks to the additional motivation (@Globato44) and disillusion (@JHop) of my new friends I managed to silver this TT and am very happy with this result.

Thanks to everyone here for the kind and supportive atmosphere! I'm still looking for fellow silver surfer ähm... driver in time trials so feel free to invite me via PSN apaul3133.

Greetings,

After tens laps with different cars (Hurracan, Aston V8, mostly), I got a strong silver with my Silvia: 1:56.722 🥈 at Watkins Glen.
Gold should be doable, for sure.

Finding the good timing for the best path at the Inner Loop is the key but also very enjoyable.
For now, I struggle to regain speed after the Toe (7) with the automatic box.

Have fun everyone :)
