RAGE! I just wrote a lovely essay about how great this game is even though I didn’t enjoy Le Mans and I’m glad it’s over.. aaaaand it all got deleted when the page accidentally refreshed. So yeah. Love the game, that was a challenge, I love the variety and being able to talk about it all with people from all over the world. ANYWAYS

Not my best result but when I started never thought I’d even get Gold! On to Watkins Glen, I love this track although I’m not that familiar it feels fun! Keep smashing it PD! I hope the Jaguar stays competitive, I own a Jaaaaaag in real life so it’s always fun racing a manufacturer you love 😁
Not a bad time at all!

Gave WG a go before work. It's a fun track but didn't have enough time to figure out the bus stop? chicane track limits.
To those more familiar with the track - Is the experience going to be a penalty roulette with the bump on the first right hand side, or are the limits consistent so to speak?

4 laps at WG with my Silvia, very bad times but I am just testing a bit. Breaking points all over the place, wrong placement, penalties and even Barry R made an appearance.

Bronze with 2min01 something at the moment. Lot of room for improvement.

I'll tackle it after I'll be done at Tsukuba (or when I'll be bored of it).
If you have the Jaguar try that one, I find it easier to drive on WG in the Jag.

Had a first peak on WC, I will start with obvious Silvia and work my way to the different cars, but for now getting to feel te car and finding my throttle points, lifts and breakingpoints and get used to the sort of heavy? feeling of the Silvia, lots of room here but not a bad start with 1:55.0, great track! I'm going to love this one 😁😁

Decided to try the meta jaguar and yeah, it’s meta for a reason. New PB 1:55.605! I think I might be safe with gold with 1.086 buffer, hard to imagine someone gaining 1.1-seconds over current best time.

Still leaderboard champion 💪

Who would have thought that deciding to stay awake when the dog woke me at 3:45, so I can game, would cause me to be so damn tired end of the day

This one is BOTH rewarding & tedious - first lap was a reasonable 1:55.989, managed to then knock off a tenth despite that last corner wall clip.

Somehow hit a 1:55.053 and decided I wanted to break into the 1:54.xxx mark - did not expect to produce a 1:54.350 but happy happy days!

(I know for a fact for 2 things: 1. The record will be in the mid 1:52.xxx zone and 2. That 234th position will absolutely not hold for 2 weeks but hopefully I stay in the top 1000 which I have a feeling won’t be as straightforward).

Good luck to everyone with this one!

Whew! I ended up not jumping on GT yesterday to improve my time, so I was really hoping my Le Mans lap from Tuesday would hold for top 200. Literally can't get any closer to that. :D

Meanwhile today I pulled down my time at a wet Tsukuba to a 1:08.703. It's a solid gold, however still well down my friends leaderboard. I'm not sure how many more attempts I'll make there. Others love the combo, but I'm not huge on it. I'm itching to hit The Glen, though. I'll leave that for tomorrow.

First stint ever at Watkins Glen.
Decided for my trusty Corvette gr.4 for the process of learning the track.
Many red laps, but few decent ones. Not bad for starters.

Still finding lines and braking points, so there's quite a potential here although it's way too early to get used to that target times.

Still using my WRX this week though it’s not a meta Gr.4 car (the fastest WRX lap time now is 55.1, just not the car for this week🙁). It’s a bit challenging to put everything together & have decent lap times (with a controller!). Did a 55.8 but I think there’s a .3-ish space for me to improve. Dunno if it’s enough for gold cuz the world record is constantly updating.

This is definitely the easiest TT in a long time... maybe ever? Literally took one lap to get into the gold, but did some more to be safe. Then bounced to the other accounts, best being a 1:54.4. Usually I wouldn't go back but I like this combo so I just may...

Tried to pull a second stint today but the furry bastards were on fire, pure terror, up in the curtains, chewing on everything they could find and running through the house faster then the Tomahawk did on the Tokyo straight ( may he rest in peace ) ...

So how easy it was for me yesterday to get a 55.0 at WG in litterly a few rounds..... so difficult was it to get even close it this morning...55.3 / 55.4 /55.2 ...
Did grab the WRX but my Silvia Ghost just keep pulling away....
Tried the Ferrari but could not realy focus and get used to the shorter gears..

My plan was to sub 55 in the silvia and than search for a different personal meta, guess i have to postpone the search

I had the same thought earlier… see how many different cars I could get a gold time in. Not sure I’m fast enough or can dedicate enough time to it, but will be fun trying… because science 😂
Tried the Aston Martin, Cayman, M4 and the McLaren this evening. M4 gearing and powerband is just plain weird. Gold with the other three within a handful of laps. Messed up 55’s with the Porsche and McLaren but both have more potential. Haven’t run a ton of laps around the track so still finding my way
