I had another shot using both the F-Type and the 458, but couldn't string together an 'optimal' lap.

Been caught out a couple of times by changing car and then chasing my 'best' time, only to discover that it's only the best time of that session :ouch: I did, however, get to over 0.8s up on a time that was 0.7s off my best, so I could have beaten my record by 0.1s had I not stuffed it on the last corner.

I love this circuit, but it is very easy to get alot of these corners wrong, esp. with traction control off...

Thank for this, very nice to see. I assume those 365 in E category or 109 in D , that won gold, are probably not racing online and therefore have E (or D) Driver rating, while in reality they might earn much better than E, maybe even A if they were racing online? Just a thought.

I am curious about other thing but I don't think it is on the web where you collect data from, but it is somewhere since we can see it on our leaderboards in game, and that is nationality. Would be interesting to see statistics per country too in my opinion.

DR can only be gained in Sport Mode races B and C, so anyone not taking part in those will be E, some of whom will be very quick. There is usually an E or two in the top 20. D-rated drivers might have just done a race or two and then stopped, so D is not a reflection of their ability.

Getting countries is beyond my basic scraping abilities unfortunately. I think @skidmark69 might get that somehow. He did something like that here.

Wow - this thread moved on quickly overnight! Congrats to everyone who achieved their goal at Le Mans. I slipped 8 places only in the last few hours and ended 1,607th overall which I think is my best position to date. Not many people used the 962 from what I can tell - would love to know where I ended up in the car-specific rankings

Looking forward to WG in Gr.4… had 5 bleary eyed laps this morning at 5:30 in the Aston Martin and quickly got into the 56’s. Will try and get some more time tonight, and will also be using this TT to try out my new load cell brake pedal conversion for the G29 that my kids got me for Father’s Day!!

I was messing around in the new TT with a Corvette and managed a 1:56.1. It was a pretty relaxing drive, not pushing hard at all (mostly trying to remember the track again). I guess this new TT isn't that hard? Maybe? :D

I should be able to get into the 55s or maybe even 54s once start pushing and spinning/crashing allover the place

Thought for sure I'd be knocked off the 250K podium this morning with my +.013% margin last night. Luckily I was able to cash that bronze in. Congrats to the gold level! Silver? Do better, get on their level. :) New one is fun. I use that track for my 700pp turbo grind a lot. I might put some time in on that one.

I had a go at Watkins Glen in the Silvia, and got my PB with it... 1:55.875.

I am kicking myself though as I screwed up the last corner (yet again...) and lost almost 0.3s on the last corner alone... I managed at 1:11.1xx split on my first attempt, and that indicated clearly that the Silvia is the fastest car I've tried by some way. On my PB laps, I got a 1:11.0xx split, but that last corner is very difficult to judge for me. Also, Turn 1 is so difficult to get right!!

Still, I wanted a sub 1:56 and got it... currently Gold, but I seriously doubt that 1:55.8xx will be good enough for Gold here.

Going against the meta and using the widely regarded as slow GT4 Clubsport. Why? Just because it's what I'm using for the Manufacturer Series right now.

This is my first time here at WG, so I golded the CE first to get a lay of the land. Anyway, I'm surprised I was able to put down a gold time with it on my first session.

I stupidly forgot to save my best lap replay. But at least I managed to screenshot the sector times.

Maybe it would be nice if PD added a pop-up box before closing the menu if you'd like to save it? Maybe that would be too annoying?

Oh well.

I feel honored to be part one of the 365-E-Rated drivers with gold! And to your point, I haven't done a sport race in probably a year and only did like 3-races.

This might be a very dumb question, but what's the point in using one's own car in a Time Trial when the BoP is applied? Is it possible to get a better deal on the BoP using one's own car, or will the BoP always be optimal for a stock car?

Had a quick go at Tsukuba this afternoon hoping to reach gold and I did.
Don't really know how, because after that lap I did 15 additional laps and never got within 1 second of my PB.

Well, nevermind, those are not my conditions and I won't return here unless forced to.
This time I'm satisfied with money payout, screw the time.

This gives me space for learning the new TT. I never turned a wheel at Watkins Glen before.

Makes zero difference if owned or rented, all will have the exact same BOP tune applied (have no idea if the car you own has a widebody, how it would work though?). I use my own car because I own them all and it's fun to see how many miles you log on them (except for the stupid decision to not have driven miles to distinguish from the used cars with 50k-miles or something)

Here are some mid-TT statistics for TT31 at Tsukuba in the Audi TTS Coupé '14.

After five TTs with gold under 10%, this one is a relief, with more than double the average currently in gold and only 4.2% out of any reward at the moment.

Thank you! Had a feeling this one was a super easy gold but I didn't realize it was THAT easy.

RAGE! I just wrote a lovely essay about how great this game is even though I didn’t enjoy Le Mans and I’m glad it’s over.. aaaaand it all got deleted when the page accidentally refreshed. So yeah. Love the game, that was a challenge, I love the variety and being able to talk about it all with people from all over the world. ANYWAYS

Not my best result but when I started never thought I’d even get Gold! On to Watkins Glen, I love this track although I’m not that familiar it feels fun! Keep smashing it PD! I hope the Jaguar stays competitive, I own a Jaaaaaag in real life so it’s always fun racing a manufacturer you love 😁

4 laps at WG with my Silvia, very bad times but I am just testing a bit. Breaking points all over the place, wrong placement, penalties and even Barry R made an appearance.

Bronze with 2min01 something at the moment. Lot of room for improvement.

I'll tackle it after I'll be done at Tsukuba (or when I'll be bored of it).
