Last time I saw @EbrahimX7 replay on Mt Panorama TT, he was driving his MC20 like this:

On top of his insane times, what's even more shocking is he drives with Cockpit view. I use the Far Chase view to get a better grasp of my distance from the walls.

Right, i never had a more terrible session at MP than this morning
it was almost if i had inters on it or something, could not hit apexes, lost to much time on the first straight again and again and when i was ready for the hill i got somany penalties beeing to far to the right before the hairpin it wasn't even funny.....
it was so bad i went sightseeing....

Then went over to check the leaderboard...., @Dan_Tes this is not what we agreed on, you hate this combo, this guy casually flighs into the 13's like he's in the air....

You always talk about my nokia setup.... ( wich is now 1080 due to the PS5 btw ...but there is still some delay on controller it seems so tv is still far better ...)

I did a run before dinner, headset pluged into the Dualsense and race while the wife was cooking, sleeping cats and the smell of diner has to be a good combo.
I still had some pretty big **** ups, mist the apex on the last corner completely for example so there should be some more time in it, uphill wasn't ideal either 🙈

But happy to be in the 13's to bad I wasn't quicker than @Dan_Tes 🤣🤣

Ahahaha 😈 my apologies, while I’m generally not enjoying this one and therefore avoiding it I do intend on trying to stay in Gold 😇. I’m not sure what time I could get here because every lap is like playing the euromillions and not hitting the wall akin to the jackpot, optimum is.. ahhhh I don’t know or care. The sooner this is over, the better. Luckily for me I have a work trip/camping trip combo this week so will not be tempted to strap in and hit the wall backwards a few more times 😁. For anyone that thinks that this car and tyre combo is true to real life, I’ll leave it to you to tell MC20 owners that they can get 50% more braking performance from their budget tyres by downshifting to 1st gear at 120mph

Not a good day today, I’ve given up on HSR completely.. turn one at RBR is becoming a recurring nightmare and the Maserati feels like it needs a long stint (30 min or more) to become reacquainted with. It also feels like one of those trials where you set a fast PB your times go off a cliff as it is so so easy to over-drive and the car goes from grip to ice-bambi just 1% over the limit, trying to find that extra 10th of a second here and there can turn into a waking nightmare.

I’ve got 24 hours now to get a few more laps in! If I don’t post, happy lapping y’all 😎😎 (except you @EbrahimX7, no more happy lapping for you pretty please 😘)

I saw the replay a while ago, everything was clean, but in terms of braking, my ds4 does not allow to do the same thing

I wanted to finish this wall riding TT in style, improved my time a bit, and this was actually done with the 22.303 first sector, I think I didn't even touch the wall in this lap. I had 22.150 sectors later but just couldn't put it all together in one lap, otherwise the optimum was 54.476, that would put me in like P40 or something, but oh well... On to the next one

Logged on to see I had a tiny cushion, and didn't fancy my chances of that holding...

Approx. 100km later, managed to piece together enough to knock 3 tenths off and build more of a cushion...

That better hold for gold! I don't know how much more I can extract out of this thing without trying to work out how people ride the wall!!!

Decent session at MP this evening, one thing I managed today was consistent clean laps!!!

Well… maybe two in a row 🫠😂. But this mad lad just set a new PB and maybe start believing that a 2:12.xxx is possible. GET GRINDING @Gomario JSP - with your new hardware I reckon you can keep up!! 😅

Even on a ‘clean’ lap I get perilously close to the walls several times a lap.. If I was doing this in VR I think I would have had to have a pacemaker fitted by now 😂😂

This is ridiculous 🥵 The throttle control required to take the mountain section without binning it is insane! It was pretty much one breath from the Cutting to McPhillamy and another one from Skyline to Forest Elbow 🤯

I usually get gold within reasonable time but Maserati on shard tires just wouldn't turn in and I hit those walls countless times. After seven days best I could do was 2:15.100 and I was wondering if there is anything in settings that could make car turn in faster. You know, to shift weight quickly between those walls. Look at that, for some reasons (I am on motion sensor steering) I turned down sensitivity to 2 on some challenge before. I now changed sensitivity to 10 and after an hour 2:14.4 even though I totally drifted in T1 and lost 0.376 in first turn.

If Jeddah don't beat record I am not going to touch it, I got enough annoyed for a week so whatever place of gold medal, I am good.

I had the exact same thought in my head but never executed it. Sometimes you need a faster rack.

Statistically speaking, this is shaping up to be one of the hardest time trials ever. Even more difficult than earlier examples as the collective skills of the community have improved enormously in the last year

The best sensitivity is the fingers. After the first gold that later became silver, I did 400kms testing the sensitivity of the control and in the meantime I also got to know the car and the necessary speed for each curve in order not to crash. Gold again, which yesterday had passed silver. One more test and at 40km I switched to minute 39. I'm also using 10 on the ds4 and 5 (according to the curve) on the R2 button, and bumper camera since GT4.

Work/life has been busy for me since last week and looks like it might stay like that for the next couple of weeks too so really not much time to play. As much as I do not like the Bathurst/Maserati combo, I'm kinda bummed that I'm not even going to be able to try it and not been able to improve on HSR either. Hopefully things will get steady by the time Suzuka rolls away cause I very much would like to have a go at that one.
