Took my time with this one for one hour now. I am definitely not the best driver but this combo of car and track, and playing on a DS4 is a nightmare. Definitely the hardest TT so far and it wasn’t as enjoyable with the SF ou Fuji. Managed the 1:44:6 for silver and I am sticking with that time. I am 100% sure I could scratch 1 second out of it but the gold is still 6 tenths out of my range so I will leave it at that.

Gallo knocked me out of silver by one thousandth of a second, and it took me over 300km to get it back! But I got it down to a 1:44.406. Near the end I was starting to feel it. It’s all about the exit and getting on the power as soon as possible; if I could make the turbo whoosh start sooner and last longer, I could pull ahead of my ghost. I could see maybe another second if I spent another evening on it, but I think I’ll call it. It might be time for PD to tweak the reward percentage formula to be a little more generous.

That gold time at Suzuka MP4/4 challenge is too tough and apparently still improving. Managed a 1.43.753 on the weekend. I've had two sessions where my best potential time was into 1.43.4s. Gonna call it quits and take my 1M, really tried a lot for this one. Will be my second silver with the Super Formula time trial, rest are gold.

Silver is now 1:44.927.
I'm almost about ready to see if it's possible to confiscate Gallo's PS4/PS5 to stop the cutoffs getting any lower.
I've just barely squeezed back into gold with a 1:42.891 after another 204 miles worth of attempts but I am now right up against my absolute limit. The difficulty on this one is insane.

1:45.1xx. I can be faster through the esses but lose it through the hairpin. I have no idea how to go faster. Are people skipping gears to avoid the extra lag or something?
Also, this car seems to turn on a tabletop as soon as it wheel spins, otherwise its an oversteery dog

Guys, probably question asked before but is it possible to reset ghost after first lap? Or is it a bug in game?
I kinda lose Gallo in front of me pretty quick, but his ghost reset after some time, on first lap, but only on first lap?

Giving up the gold streak? Judging from what you’re usually capable of when you put some effort in, this TT here is definitely within reach. No doubt about it being the most difficult one so far but I think you could’ve done it, man.
I wasn’t particularly fond of this one either but jumped in on an alternative account some tweny minutes ago to set a safe time as it was worryingly close to falling out.

Aye, I probably could've done it if I pushed for it but at the end of the day it's just a game and I'd rather have fun with it doing something else than forcing myself to do something I'm not enjoying, the stats (or the money) don't mean all that much to me.
For the most part, the more wings a car has, the worse I am with it - so it's not a huge surprise! I didn't expect to get gold on the SF19 TT but I think a large part of that was being able to drive the final sector well, as it was the breaking point for a lot of people.
It's quite funny though that I can bounce from the top ~200 in the Civic one, to struggling to break 4000 in this one.

Looks like this will be my first non gold. Due to a super busy, extra long weekend and then having to travel for work I've not been able to touch this challenge in the better part of a week... nor will I be able to tonight. Extra bummer because I am only about .050" off... so I know I can do it with some more laps.

You and I are exactly opposite. I have found the SF and this one relatively straight forward (and lots of fun) compared to the road cars. That Z at Maggiore was the most frustrating and I enjoyable task in the game so far.
I think we crossover at around the Group 3/4 change over going by our relative qualy times.
