I don't understand something, why the end date on the website does not correspond to the end in the game?

maybe the elimination of these time trials will not take place until next Sunday! This surprises me since an update is planned this week!!

I've made a trip down to the Stat Cave to bring you some Monday morning results.

Congratulations to @Todt and @newmedia_dev for smashing their previous best placement results.

Here are some statistics for TT50 at Nürburgring Nordschleife in the Honda Civic Type R '22.

Drivers with gold in all TTs
The number of drivers with gold in all TTs to date dropped from 112 to 107 over the two events.

Always enjoyed your statistics while lurking. Great work.

You mind adding me to the GTP leaderboard? I could use some motivation to push for more than just gold on the TTs.

If I remember correctly this is the link you’ll need?

Edit: I’m using a wheel btw

(On that note. If anyone wants to add me ingame, feel free)
You are now on the board. Here are your individual results to date.

Man, if you look a all those stats, we can realy say that we have a bunch of proper fast guys here,
and some ( including myself ) have learned a lot over a failry short period of time.
All those helpfull videos and given advice are gold in itself, but then came the sheets, the statistics.....and suddenly there was competition due to the implemented leaderboard.

We try to gold them all and try be faster than our GTP mates, but let's be honest guys..., we are at the top here :)
So don't be mad or sad if you don't obtain a gold medal, it takes practise, skill and a lot of time sometimes to get were the fast guys are!

Fingers are twitching because some Dutch guy is a few thousandths of a second quicker than me.......

Been a long time since my last post here...

I've only done gold and not much more on most of the events after the Olympic one with the Toyota GR01. I was so unbelievably pissed (and actually still am) cause I lost my gold streak by 0.006 seconds there :grumpy:

So anyways what's with that certificate for beating the official Nürburgring time with the Civic Type R? Does anyone know? Like do we get something special?

@half_sourly why no stats on the U17 eMS Suzuka TT?
I'm guessing that's purely because most of us are 18 or older (I'm also 99% sure everyone on the GTP leaderboard is 18+)

But either way, most did not take part in that event, including me, even though you could lie your age just to enter.

No one knows exactly if there is something else in it, but for now, it's merely a certificate document, like a diploma at school.

Because the data is redacted (See here) with no names available, hence the gtplanet community here, for whom I do the statistics, will not be able to see their results. And what @TumeK5 said.

Now then, to illustrate how true this is and just how skewed the results of the gtplanet TT community are, here are the distribution graphs, with data tables, for the last two TTs. We represent Silver quite well, but have far more gold and far fewer bronze and none than the general population.

There's not much data available for that TT because the leaderboard doesn't show names + what TumeK5 said. I didn't take part in that either.
But that was a choice not to enter. Should I not have entered the Nürburgring TT because that was for 18's and over (hell no) I bet every man, woman and their dog (if it could) entered that . Some events exclude you from taking part altogether based on location. I wasn't allowed to take part in the Michelin 918 Spyder TT or the Olympic TT. Just seems very selective thats all.

At the end of the day its @half_sourly putting in the effort to bring these incredible stats to us all (he's awesome) so I'll just have to deal with whatever he deems worthy.

If the event rules state that it's only for individuals under 18 years old, and I am not, then it's quite clear for me not to enter even if it was possible. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking any positions away from the kids for whom this event was intended.

Finally had time in over a month to get on a long session and not just settle for a safe gold time.View attachment 1299060

Very happy with the 34.752, and very happy to be in front of 2 people whom I always try to beat @Evilmuffin @Gomario JSP. Ignore the fact that they've beaten me in the last month or so...

Here is as much as I am prepared to do without risking breach of data protection.

Incidentally, I disagree. It is a choice to follow the rules and not lie about one's age.

I'm 17. Do you think I should have followed the rules and not entered the Nürburgring TT? what if were one of the few people on your list that had gold on every single TT and wanted to keep that gold run going...I'd just have to suck it up and say rues are rules and there goes my gold streak. I don't think so

Thank you for your further thoughts. This note will be my last correspondence with you. All the best.

I don't think it particularly matters, in your case here. PD does have a history of wiping the boards, though in certain circumstances. It would be more unfair to players 18 or younger to have their times deleted because a disproportionately large number of players over 18 decided to be greedy.

As far as I know, the Gold streak is just a bit of interesting info pulled during the process. Has no bearing on anything except perhaps your pride. So, if @half_sourly decides not to count the Suzuka TT, it doesn't end anyone's streak for missing it.
