The Nurburgring Civic TT...for those of us who beat the certificate time. Are we supposed to get a certificate?

I think it might be after 5 November, the deadline shown on the website, but just a guess. The Nurburgring Civic TT...for those of us who beat the certificate time. Are we supposed to get a certificate?
I may hope we will get the certificate 🤣, those were a lot of hartpounding miles I had to go to get it 🤣🤣 we can only wait 🙏The Nurburgring Civic TT...for those of us who beat the certificate time. Are we supposed to get a certificate?

I think it's just because they were special sponsored events that you had to enter to participate, rather than the regular two TTs. Look out for special events is the takeaway! So are liveries now going to be a regular feature for participating in time trials or was that just for those two events?
I didn't notice/know that there were liveries on offer otherwise I might have tried these time trials, not fussed in that I can probably find/recreate those liveries myself but if that's going to become a regular feature I might just have to start participating again,
I am not a alien and I always use TC at 0 because in general you can do faster laps than with TC at 1 or more@PlanetJanet...
I think the Aliens all use TCS0. I tend to switch between 0 and 1. I find 1 is quicker for me on some circuits and slower on others.
Throttle position and timing are absolutely critical on ALL of them though.
Best regards to all here.
Ian.
I am typically not consistent enough for TCS 0 with all cars but some I've always had a good feel for. I finally (after about 3 months with my DDPro) am starting to really get the feel for the nuance in the braking and acceleration. I haven't had a lot of time at all lately to play but I was able to jump in last night for a couple hours and gained 3 tenths at Alsace and a second and a half with the Merc with TCS 0 instead of 1. I feel like both of the cars in those time trials benefit greatly from and are better for sure with no traction control. That Merc is fast even sideways out of a corner with TCS off. I have come out of corners sliding and with a semi controlled drift my deltas were better than laps where I hadn't slid.On the subject of TCS from the last page, do the fastest people have it at 0 for all events or do they use a little for some cars/combos? I found it easier and faster to be at 0 for the 918 at Atlanta, and this Alsace TT, but the Merc at Interlagos without TCS is a big pain in the proverbial. I'm currently much faster with TCS at 1.
I'm no alien but always have TC0. Events like this Interlagos one are good opportunities to practice TC via throttle control, which will serve you well in all events, even where traction is not much of a factor. On the subject of TCS from the last page, do the fastest people have it at 0 for all events or do they use a little for some cars/combos? OK thanks for the info, will keep an eye for special events in future.I think it's just because they were special sponsored events that you had to enter to participate, rather than the regular two TTs. Look out for special events is the takeaway!
TC 0 doesn't magically grant you speed, you still need to be naturally fast and know how to compensate for no traction control. You know I usually had my TCS at 3-4, I wonder if that's why I couldn't be as fast as the alien pack, and higher skilled drivers on the road.
Right, that's why I'm asking really. I think we all know that TCS 0 is theoretically fastest but practically speaking? I was curious whether any of you really fast people ever dabbled with having it on but it seems not!TC 0 doesn't magically grant you speed, you still need to be naturally fast and know how to compensate for no traction control.
with the new invalidated time penalties it's even more trickier.
Nvm what I said about that part earlier. How do I handle that sharp left turn before I come up at the finish line. Sometimes I'll go too quick and hit the wall and lose my lap.

I using a Logitech G29 at the moment.
I'm almost always without TCS on Dualsense btw, and it's doable for almost any TT.On the subject of TCS from the last page, do the fastest people have it at 0 for all events or do they use a little for some cars/combos? Hm, up until 19th. I'm afraid it takes more than 3 weeks to get UK citizenship so I guess I have to pass on this one😕😂Another new time trial for The Prince’s Trust in the UK
