There is a good chance. Something like this?

Yeah, awesome, thanks! So Fins and Spaniards were almost a second faster on average than Americans. And it also nicely shows me the countries I would have to emigrate to for my result to be the national record ;)

Where would Japan rank here? It‘s interesting they are so under-represented on GTP. Maybe the language …

Question for the ongoing stats: if I don’t log a time for a time trial, does that count as a loss/fail? Time is looking tight this week and I may not get a chance to tackle Red Bull Ring 🥲

It went further down:

Now second from gold, will continue tomorrow.
FM time.

Just for intellectual curiosity, may I ask you a file of your custom livery, please?
I'm absolutely not a creative person but just curious to see how it's done.
No problem at all if you don't or can't, it's not mandatory of course :)
Not sure what you mean - I'm just making it with shapes in the editor and from the Showcase searches. I'll share it when it's done - hopefully tonight!

Another interesting take: China, India and Indonesia make up roughly 40% of the world's population. But even combined they have less GT players than Ireland. Or Croatia.
I serve my country by staying OFF the leaderboards and not dragging down the numbers. You’re welcome, Britain.
Your intention is honorable of course ;), it is however a statistic across all players. @half_sourly just filtered out countries that have no players on our board

Sorry my bad, I was supposed you created one with a soft like InDesign, Inkscape, or similar.

First tests at Le Mans with the Bazooka.
As I didn't know how the car reacts, I've selected a basic livery (I'll apply the fastest colors later).

2.5 laps completed so far:
  • invalidated for track limits violation
  • conservative silver: 4.26.9xx --> 4.5 sec from gold...
  • crash at Mulsanne (the driver is safe but the car has severe damages)

Apparently, my first livery isn't optimal but I'm not yet confident to pick a fastest color. I'll decided in the next coming days for something appropriate.

🛑 FLASH INFO 🛑
The ACO track marshalls just decided that any score below 4:21.500 would be considered as alien or mutant.

It's just a Did Not Start. So you won't be on the board for that fortnight's results and for the ongoing stats in the other thread (post 2) it will just be a '-'. It won't drag your averages down there, as they only count where there is a result.

Is there any way to see my personal progress relative to other GTP members? I am curious to see if I have improved over time or have stayed relatively stable in comparison! If you could provide the steps to do it myself, that be awesome. Then I can check over time!

Thank you for continually tracking these!

Relative to other GTP members might be tricky as that group has had many changes with some no longer taking part and others joining.

A more useful indication of improvement might be the nifty graph @crome does.

Hi everyone!

Did a few laps on Le Mans and can't complain, this Veyron is really suited for this track.

Also, enjoying the #1 spot on my friends list atm, even above @Gomario JSP - well that never happens 😂

53573832798_9febc5b47a_k.jpg

Happy lapping everyone 🔥
I ran a few laps on remote but the connection is so bad it's infuriating me to the bone, 🤣🤣
Every time I was on to a descent lap the screen froze mid corner obviously 🤣🤬👹😡

You are save for tonight, tomorrow morning I'll take a session on the TV 😁

Great job golding it so soon mate!

I know, I meant I’m staying off the GB leaderboards by migrating virtually.

If I move to Finland I’ll probably get faster as a bonus.

Dislike this one already. Don’t have the free time to waste 4 mins a lap with constant invalidations. Terrible understeer, terrible brakes. I’ve used the car before and swear it wasn’t this bad. Haven’t even set a clean lap and not going to bother.

I had the same feeling but after 6 laps it clicked! The track borders are a bit hard to see at some points (had 2 laps invalidated that i seriously couldn't figure out where).

Understeer is barely there with every assist off but ABS weak and countersteer strong.

Perhaps my relative position to the top-scoring GTP'ers would suffice.
Not sure what you have in mind, but here is something. I've taken your overall results and compared it with two top-performing GTP people who have done all TTs and have always been good. So you could just eyeball that for whichever metric you think is important.

Then I've taken the difference in percentile for you versus them, and put it on a graph. Improvement would be where the graph trends down, which it does.
