Not sure what you have in mind, but here is something. I've taken your overall results and compared it with two top-performing GTP people who have done all TTs and have always been good. So you could just eyeball that for whichever metric you think is important.

Then I've taken the difference in percentile for you versus them, and put it on a graph. Improvement would be where the graph trends down, which it does.

That's awesome, thank you very much! I can imagine the trend line here nicely.

I actually found this one to be rather fun. I can definitely crack the :18's with a bit more practice I'm thinking.

I'm not a big fan of the orange (a bit "déjà vu") on a Bugatti, even if apparently, it's a very fast color.
I'm not surprised at all for the standard blue, which is always a disappointing color speaking about perfs.
That color parameter should be added in the @half_sourly data.

I sympathize with this involuntary change for your medal, brother scot but it may continue with the others aliens... :indiff:
Blue is a common choice for any Volkswagen... Which colour had your Corrado by the way?

I usually like TT with Race Cars more but I will first return to Austria. There is still stuff left to do...

Ok guys, I'm on a mission at Le Mans with the Bug'

First, the livery.
Bugatti is a world symbol of high couture and French know-how. So, I've chose for an elegant one, serious but modern, classic for the spring-summer season, with some light touches of orange for the speed but not too much.

After the first "2.5 laps" test earlier (4:26.9xx), I decided to be a bit more focus on the track, the line, the braking points, etc. for that second session.
It's a bit less conservative - but still too careful on some track limits, and braking points - and I'm now +/- 2 secs from gold (and 10 sec from WR.... :odd:).
The gaps are huge...

On that short session (5 laps, 1 in red), my optimal is 4:23.143. And it's clearly doable, as I know I left many tenths here and there. It's a loooong concentration exercice where a single error costs the full lap.

I really don't know yet if I could join the very select "Sub 4:22" Club. I'll see that later. For now, I'll quickly watch videos and upload a ghost, because I must significantly improve my times with the best practices from the best drivers.

Have fun, guys!

My Corrado in 1991 was Brilliantschwarz. Very common too.
And the VR6 I didn't bought was Dunkelburgund 🥰

I totally second your second point.... ;)

First day at the French trench, and that's a combo I liked. It is an odd one indeed, but I liked.

Little did I know that by choosing the red car it would be a perfect match to my time table. Lots, I mean.... Lots of red laps! 😅

Then I finished day one with a silver time and a long way ahead if I decide to chase gold.

I like this combo very much, that said, I've always liked racing cars more than the road cars in GT7, especially in time trials

Looking at the sector times, a mid 4:16 is possible and not really far away, this was the first session only, without looking at the ghosts or replays and guides, so I believe this will be nicely improved :)

So, first session in my new killer bee, and I like the combo more than I thought I would.

The car handles nicely and is very planted, and the long straights provide some time to breathe. Invalidating a lap in the final chicane is annoying as hell though :banghead:. Also very pleased with my current friends board :D Obviously the usual suspects have only done some warm-up laps yet, but this screenshot will stand for eternity ;)

Given that I only completed a handful of valid laps, and that my last lap was almost a second faster than the previous best, I would be surprised if a 1:18 weren't possible. I'll certainly try.

Perhaps also worth mentioning: now that Hencsai and De Bruin have entered the competition, it's not really an easy gold anymore, at least statistically:

Happy lapping everyone!

I love Le Mans but it's not the best choice for a time trial. Make a mistake at Indianapolis and you have to start all over again, which is rather frustrating as it takes another 3 and half minutes to get back there. Worse still if you stuff up the Ford Curves. I know there's more time to be gained but it's not going to be easy.

I put in my first session before watching any guides. The only thing I did exactly the same was short shifting. The rest of my lap was a mix of their approaches. I will definitely change my strategy for a few corners, though. Note this was about 3 hours ago. Dinner had to come before posting.

Sure thing. Here's the regular version ...

... and an alien version, zoomed into TTs 20 and following ;)

This is awesome! Thanks for posting it to show our little battle. What I don't like is how the other two have closed in and surpassed me lately. I felt pretty good from TT's 1-12 on the bottom graph. Now...not so much.

That graph is so cool showing how much you 2 have converged and challenged each other. Well done 👍
