TC1 and down to a 33.600 with a controller. Never been a fan of Fuji as I don't enjoy the long radius corners and the battle between under and oversteer with a controller. I am well over 50 laps in and doubting i will get gold.
I'm sorry to tell you this but if you want to make good times and hang the gold medal around your neck at every TT, I advise you not to use a TC !!!! I know it's easier said than done, but it will save you time.
As for the transmission !!!! Use manual transmission, not automatic. This helps immensely with staying in the high turns and getting out of your turns faster.
For the TC at 0, it is a question of habit and training.
As for the bike the first time without the small wheels !!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know that for some cars it is impossible (especially for the GT-One in my case), but you will see that you will never use the TC at 1 or more again.
I'am agree at 100% with this tip.
Each player has a different experience or sensitivity about the TCS.
Whatever, you will be faster without assists.
The only assist you shoudn't turn off is your hands.

You will definitely be faster without any assists but you can manage golds in pretty much every TT using TC and auto. I've done it almost every time and that's with no sound except the music from the stero.
I can't put it better than this. There are definitely TTs where I happily trade some potential hundredths or tenths for more consistency, and there are others where that does not seem necessary. It's a tool that can be employed where applicable, nothing more, nothing less. My two cents anyway ...
I played a little today since I was out early for rain... I did not improve but I did have my second fastest lap and consistent fast times. Just couldn't put one together. I turned CSA off totally. No assists. Hit a 554 I think. I'm aiming for a low 32 before I'm done. If the planets align I think I've got it.

I've turned CSA on to weak, I'm not sure if it's placebo effect or I am getting better at the combination but I've started lapping consistently now. I might just be able to squeeze a little more time. I do however feel I'm at my limit. A low 32 would be impossible for me.
Goodluck. I know you are more than capable of attaining your target.
Not yet but there's F1 at Suzuka this weekend and the first couple of rounds of NLS also so we could have Super Formula at Suzuka or Gr.3 or 4 at Nords
Well, with about 8 hours to go i got a .013 drop, .539 to put in me in 39th place,i'm even top Canuck for the first time ever 😅🇨🇦

I just can't get that damn S3 right. Right now it feels like I'm just repeting my mistakes over and over and getting nothing new to the track.
Edit: my S1 is locked in the 20:1 with occasional 20:0. S2 is in the 29:1 with casual 29:0. But (!!!) I just can't get below 44 in S3. I had some 44:0 splits but never with my best S1 and S2 together in one lap.

What I see in the replays or YT videos is a very small and precise brake input. I feel like I'm breaking too much loosing speed. If I try to break to softly I overshoot the corners and lose speed all the same.

I don't think I've felt more defeated by one yet. I ran a few laps the other day and got a 1:33.2, but today I ran many, many laps without getting close to that. It feels like the grip limits, braking, turning... everything is ever changing, and I feel like a crazy person doing the same things over and over again with nothing to show for it.
Turn 3 kills me just about every time. I still can't pin down a braking amount or where to turn in. It is the #1 make-or-break section of the track for me, and I fail it probably 90% of the time. I must not be in a good headspace for this one today.
After taking a break I did get into the 32s with a 1:32.997 (barely) but I still don't feel good about it. I watch other peoples replays and am doing mostly the same things, but they are smoothly nailing 31s to low 32s, whereas I've gotten a clean 32 ONCE. I'm sitting here at 3800 something wondering how in the h*** so many people out there are so much faster.
Ugh. Still some time left for this one, but I'm tired, cranky and hungry now, so Fuji can wait.
Congrats to all of you out there running so fast! I'll need a bit more time to feel good about this one.
Took half a tenth more off tonight, getting so close to the 31 but not quite, I know it's in there it's just a matter of time until I hook it all up!
@skydragon49 - I had a look at your most recent replay, sorry it took so long to do. I have a few observations though, understand that you've done a great lap so I am nit-picking at little bits for you to try gain a few tenths back
From the start all the way to the hairpin is really good so I've got nothing to add there but on exiting the hairpin I think you could gain some time by getting to full power earlier by steering less tightly and letting the car go right out onto the kerb.
Looking here you're not able to go floor it yet because you're still at full steering so it would result in a spin, to avoid that happening you can drive with only a little bit of turning all the way out to the green cross where you can't go any further, the track limits here allow you to have only 2 wheels on the kerb so you can extend pretty far.
Going down to my least favourite corner, T13, I think you turn in a bit early, so it makes you exit wide and right up to where the astro turf part is, you really want to turn in and apex later, keeping it tighter there so you can exit straighter for a faster run into the next corner, the line would have you exit more like the green one I've put on here.
Last one is to try avoid dancing between brake and accelerator inputs on the way in to corners For example, with this corner you go from braking, to accelerating then back to braking all before the apex. In a lot of places in sector 3 its completely fine to just allow the car to roll into the turn then gradually get on the power. If you find you think you've slowed down too much and are tempted to give it a little stab of power then it means you can probably brake a bit later next time, I'll put some pictures in this spoiler just showing the example I saw
