Jeff Goldblum What GIF by The Late Late Show with James Corden

Anyway :D ...

Took half a day off today so I could already try both TTs. I hope I didn't demotivate my brother (who spent all morning driving) too much by besting his (very respectable!) bronze times relatively quickly, but hey, all this practice has got to be worth something, right?

Sitting at fragile golds for both of them, but will definitely revisit.

Interestingly in general people struggle more at Eiger Nordwand ...

but for me personally it is definitely the easier one, and also a lot more enjoyable than Tokyo (damn those walls! :banghead: )

Happy lapping and a heartfelt sorry to everyone who has to sit around on a beautiful beach enjoying life and doing nothing 😭

Edit: forgot to post the times:

Wow, not a whole lot of people earned gold in those TT's. I'm surprised.

It's literally the first rule.

Hi guys 'and Greek),

This new circuit with this new car are nothing but a great lesson of humility to me!

I've nicely golded the CE (1:08.027) but the TT is really something else. I've naively imaginated being ready for the TT.... I was wrong.

  • Fighted with the SUB' more than 30 mns (90% of red laps),
  • Scored a first "valid" lap around 01:06.8xx pretty much satisfied and stupidly proud,
  • Then, seriously improved at 1:06.388 with the feeling of having climbed the Eiger in sandals and discover I've only a bronze time...

If I enter the silver territory, I'll be more than lucky and happy...

Personal message to PD: can you bring back the LFA, please 🙏 ?

The Subie is a tricky one. I've only managed a best of 1:05.5 so far. I feel like there's something I'm missing. I'm not sliding the back end around at all and I'm feeling like that's probably what I have to get comfortable doing to shave off enough to creep into Gold territory.

Last test for today in Eiger Nordwand and improve my time in 1'04'580

Bravo my friend !!! So impressive to see how you perfectly handle this monster.

But seriously, do we have all the exact same car?

On the starting line, we have similar speed +/-150 km/h but at the end of the straight (0:06 sec of your video), we have exactly a gap of 6 km/h (206 / 212)... And 216 for Tidgney... :(

Maybe I should drive the Subaru like I would like to die as fast as possible...

@Dan_Tes or any other Logitech G Pro user....does the wheel VERY different after the update? I feel like it had lost a lot of detail feedback compare to before. I used to feel the suspension joins in Tokyo Expway, now I just hear it and don't feel anything (Same with curbs, I can barely feel it now). Also, I can't really feel the understeer or oversteer anymore and had to rely on the car's rotation to tell if it is doing either.

Anyway....took a look time to get the hang of the Ferrari.

I'm not even going to bother posting the time for the WRX....let's just say I haven't even silver it yet 🙈

If logi G Pro users haven't been following this, take a look here (scroll back to start of update?):

Lots to talk about, my wheel got massively heavier and it seems trueforce might have taken a nerf? Still, enjoying it however.

oups sorry @Famine 🤣🤣
Thanks a lot my friend Daniel !!!! It's nice of you !!!!
Not driven there like a normal car. There is no point in dragging it because on the tarmac you lose time. And above all, don't push your relationships to the limit. You will save more time by going through them quickly. Afterwards I find it quite easy to drive and on this circuit it's a real treat. Unlike the Ferrari 430 in Tokyo. You can do it, you are capable of it, you have already proven it on other TTs 💪💪💪

My first valid lap (after several invalid laps) at that truly horrible Nordwald was......

1:23.xxx

🤣 🤣 🤣

Bronze will be a challenge for me here!

@Pesselles how can you give me a "hot" for a time like that??? 🤣
Great job seadog777! With enough practice, you will get to the silver club!

Merci vraiment Jérome, really appreciate your advices and your kind words :)
And yes, after one hour of red laps, of stupid scores, I've improved my PB from 1:06.388 to.... 1:06.311... :dopey:

Champagne for eveyone !!!

Seriously, if I enter the 1:05, it will be my greatest acheivement...

Speaking about the Ferrari, I've only changed the déjà vu Rosso Corsa for the official Ferrari Blue Ribot.

Good luck mate, I'm rooting for you, :)

DId a few laps in both TTs this morning. Man...you guys who pop in and lock down gold right off the bat are something else. I'm seconds off silver! I hope there's a "gimme gold" TT soon for us lowly punters here...
Good luck with reaching your goal!! Yeah, we need the leprechaun to guide us to the gold, xD.
