I was going to run some laps this morning but internet was dead 🙈 So it will be tonight before I run some laps and by that time I will probably forget how to drive the car.
That's kind of the reason I haven't been pushing TTs recently. I'm mostly busy during weeked, and by Monday I will have to relearn everything.....so I kinda just give up 🙈 Now whatever time I post by the end of Friday (sometime even Thursday) is whatever time I end the TT with 🤣🤣

I have run out of time here. Cyprus beckons. Sooooo frustrating on these 2 Time Trials. Just when I am really beginning to get my "eye" in, I have to go on holidays. Unless any of you folks want to go in my place? I am sure my wife will understand. NOT!!!
So very close to a 14:XX:XXX at Watkins Glen. I was very very close to a PB at Suzuka too. Ohh well.

Hmm... it seems that your speed would allow you to earn more gold and silver. How come you don't go for another (bunch of) laps? I personally enjoy the time trials most and would have left GT7 already some months ago without this challenge (and the awesome community in this section of the GTPlanet). Congrats to your success!

I'm with @Gorefast in that I love (most) of the TTs and find they help me in my main stomping ground which is the dailies.
I know you do a lot of dailies as well @brockie so bring that pace to the TTs
The TTs have a collateral benefit for me is that it's a more competitive version of the circuit experiences with "skin in the game" so to speak.
I have an equal'ish spread of bronze silver and gold which is reflective of my tastes more than ability I think.
Well come to the dark side that is the TT addiction also stay away from @Dan_Tes and @half_sourly

Made the mistake of trying the Red Bull event the other day, and then made another mistake by crossing the line on rare valid lap… 🤦♂️ Now I’m locked in on trying to get to a decent time together. Optimal is a 1:26.6 but right now I’m some way off that and frustratingly just outside gold. Time to watch @Tidgney ’s guide and turn a ghost on… think I’m just not coasting at the right points in some of the longer corners, but I’ll work it out. Cheers all

Turns out this works on MacOS as well, so I downloaded it to my laptop which I usually have open on my coffee table anyway and just maximize the app on the screen when playing. NICE!

@brockie these are nice fillers for us daily race types in that we get to practice braking, lines and have something to chase. You'll see it in you QT times. And that will lead to better races mate.
Also Dan and Sourly I was joking...or maybe I wasn't 🤣 mwwwaaahhhh

First time I'm not happy about my result. The time comes from a lucky turn1. I cannot handle it, but from time to time the car ends up in a suitable spot for the lap to be good. I'm just a passenger. Undeserved at all.

Just here to remind people to not give up on X2019 it took me around 4000km if not more total to get gold in the last one.
Now it took me around 70km to gold before the aliens got faster.
With an additional 125km from another day once again it's gold.

Looks like this is Suzuka East/ Miata Round 2. Lots of squeeze, very little juice.
It looks like the new normal for Time Trials is to get everyone packed in as tightly as possible.
It's gonna take some work (and probably some luck, too) if I want to keep my top 1000 streak going.

I feel this. I've been having a time getting into the low hundreds lately after a pretty good streak of that. I've definitely not had the time to commit either but even when I do I can't find the time as easily. 😬

Didn't manage to break into the 1:54s at Dragon Trail and couldn't beat my PB before the TT closed, despite giving it a last 15 laps push.
Got some early laps in today with the Alfa and so far didn't need to resort using pad. Golded this yesterday with a 1:16.109, which most definitely wouldn't hold until the end, but due to the AWD, added weight and nerfed power output this car isn't such a handful to handle like the recent 'Vette or the slidey MX5. Gonna stick to the wheel on this one and see how far I can move up the ranks.

Edged into silver at Suzuka, so that's Suzuka and WG both silver for now!
Away for work from tomorrow until late Thursday (again!) so hoping they hold - can't do much about it if they don't.
Am not entering the Red Bull trial - don't get on with the "car" and don't like the track so I'd probably struggle to get bronze on that one.

Morning folks,
Saturday morning and awake early because I'm used to it 🤣
Busy week behind me so time to relaxe in the 155 V6....relaxe is a different story but let's call it destressing 🤣
This TT is so weird for me, never have I been so consistent on a TT as on this one, took me some time to find the way it should be driven ,it has somuch more aero then I thought it would have so you can realy tug it in some corners, and it just doesn't slide..... that is good for consistency...... but the downside is that finding those tenths becomes harder for me, I think 80% of my laps were in the 1:14.5 range this morning when i was finally feeling it, with some high .4's, eventually had 3 descent sectors but kind of stuffed up the last corner, and could have been closer to those damn busstop wall 🙈🤣 ( which I did hit like a gazillion times)
This is going to be hell to get a top 100 🤣
Made myself a white one, maby it helps 🤣

Well this is setting myself up for disaster – didn't realise cones in the racing line would cause a penalty 
Was rather expecting to be yeeted to the moon, rather than running flat over it...
Also, all laps below 28 were invalidated so far. I need to take a break and evaluate my mistakes (apart from scattering road side props across the race track).

Another 10 laps stint at GV, I am quite liking this combo, I am beginning to be more relax while driving this beast.
Good improvement and nearly silver, I should be there next time.
Visibility so much better on the OLED HDR screen than with remote play, I see where I am going in the tunnels 🤣
Struggling to get a good line on the right turn before the long bridge, and not good enough in the esses before the final full throttle part.
Gold seems far though, it will depend on how "easily" I improve next time. Optimal is very close from best lap and not many times in the 1:29s at the moment, just a lucky S2 for this best lap, need to get more consistency.

So improvement in my time to finally go under 1'15 with a time of 1'14'917 and an optimal time of 1'14'765. But also thanks to the entrance to the chicane better approached than yesterday and a first sector at 30'7xx

Had a very good T1, just +0,020s off my personal best.
Got a great turn in for S2, but than i went a bit to aggressive for the weight transfer into the righthander which ended in a small slide.
So lost another +0,070s to my personal best.
Final sector felt good, but probably slowed down a bit to much or was on throttle 1 meter to late, have been 0,040s faster on my best run through there.
I'm very happy that i got that .7 beeing head to head with some incredible drivers.
Still some days left, so i'll keep trying to get a lucky shot. 😬
