People seem to want to make racing games fun.(?) Here's some ideas that could help without changing the physics. Make time trials where you replace a car with a low flying dragon,eagle, or biplane. Or a running animal, clown or model......(F Horizonish)
Another idea is to take any track and add a new setting. Alien planet, zoo, dance party, dinosaurs, haunted......with the same layout and physics.
