What Day and Time Would be Best for you to make the Xfinity Race?

  • Total voters

Mid-Ohio will still be this Friday, I will not be racing, but will be there to Officiate. One thing I ask of everyone is not to vote, but give your opinion on what should be done with Monza's results.

Whats happened has happened, you cant really go back after the fact and go "Oh wait, nope." Ive never seen that in NASCAR anyways.

I say, even though I wasn't there, issue more possible post race penalties in lue of nullifying the entire race, and Nas, there's never been some bs happen like this in Nascar, it's not exactly true to life as Trobes as said before, so it could make sense, with how much controversy there was surrounding the fiasco, to make it null.

You can argue it either way, to make it better for others, or to make it worsefor others and or hurt other, full time drivers.

That's why I say issue other post race penalties, so the people that weren't involved directly, aren't hurt, like Jayden, and those that were, get theirs, and their rightful deductions and penalties. Bear in mind, this is just for the post race. What happened off track.

As for the race itself. Since I think this is the way you're wanting people to go in regards to their opinion of what should be done with the race.

Make it null, essentially delete the race, regardless of time or effort put into practice or setups, boohoo, we've all been there, and simply add a race to the schedule at the end of the season, or before the chase starts, so everyone still has a fair shot at the total number of points and so on. That's just my opinion, also I think one of the more logical, level headed ways of doing things from an unbiased source =|

I'm still for the reversion. If everyone else doesn't agree however, I'm more so for keeping the original results than nullifying them. My reasoning for that is that people did practice, some for extensive periods of time (that elitist guy you know), and I feel that even though it's not the fairest thing to do, there still needs to be some payout for the racing we did. It was good racing too, the top three had roughly the same pace and everything else aside I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the competition.

I have to agree with @Whitetail here, I don't know how much time the rest of you put in last week, but @Cole Brown maybe if you put 7 hours of practice into it, like I did, you'd want it to count for something, even if the end result is losing positions due to unfortunate circumstances. On one hand we did race it and if a revert is not possible, have it count. Even with the finish in the rain, the race wasn't a total disaster and should count one way or another. Only if a race is a total disaster, (such as not enough people starting, network issues making it impossible to run, the competitors saying it isn't worth the time before halfway, or other worse things,) should it not count. I still believe a revert to before the restart makes the most sense, as it as been admitted that resuming the race was a mistake, and I believe that the best way to fix said mistake is with a reversion to before the mistake was made.

@trobes29 Post Mid-Ohio regulations please.

Lol, I was hoping someone would say that, proving points peel, proving points.

I think we should have 1/2 points for monza should be awarded to everyone because of the hours of practice most people did and it wouldn't be enough to really hurt in the points

I can't race tonight I'm going to be gone with some friends, sorry. Good luck on a great race.
If someone wants to fill in for me they can if they want but I really don't care.

OP Updated with Regs for Indianapolis.
Montreal has been replaced with Auto Club as the last race before the Chase.
Rulebook updated. Now has a "Foreword" on Rulebook interpretation.

Last night's race was okay. Thanks again everyone for having the patience to wait for me, I was almost certain I wouldn't be able to race. As for the race itself, I told you all that after I got back home I wasn't feeling well at all and I believe that contributed to some of the silly errors I made, smacking the wall twice. Shame knowing I could have done better but at the same time, with the circumstances at hand as well as it being my first oval race at Indy, I can't be too disappointed. Congratulations to @Peelster1 for the provisional win and to @trobes29 and @Challengerlov for the podium finishes.

Back to the road course for today's event.
