PSN parties are great from January 1 to November 30. But from December 1 to 31 they're an absolute hell.

My streak of misery continues. Went out to take care of shopping and avoided the song. But as soon as I walk into the house, I get greeted with George from the radio. I've lost count of how many years its been now that I've been out now. I only survived the first year I entered and have either been Whammed before I even entered the game or during my time playing ever since.

TLDR: I'm out.

I got cover Whammed today at Michaels craft store. I had to get paint for one of my model car builds and as soon as I opened the car door I heard Taylor Swifts cover of the song. It was being played by a mom on her phone who was walking by trying to keep her kids happy.

Crisis averted. For now.

The school I work at has been getting into the christmas swing of things and that includes christmas songs for some of the after school events.

Luckily I caught a glimpse of the playlist whilst working and noted Wham was on just after Walking in the air so I do have a slight advantage in knowing when to duck in to a classroom and fire up the vacuum to drown it out.

Of course it didn’t stop my mind being paranoid when someone was singing Last Christmas to themselves and me almost diving into another classroom to avoid any incoming Wham.

Even if I survive the school this week, I’m not sure I’ll survive the week altogether as I’ve got a company christmas party on Saturday to go to.

Now it's getting scary for me... they started playing some version of Jingle Bells at work (a store) today, luckily I think Wham! is too expensive to license so it probably won't be played... I hope so at least.

Popped into the Tesco garage for milk, toilet roll and bleach. 3 things that I'm now shoving into both ears to clear out George's mess that was pumped into them by said garage's sound system. Hopefully the Madball gig tonight will knock the last of George's residue out of my skull.
