I think we should test first, at the moment, I'm the only one with a good setup or I just know the track better, but I'm faster at Autumn Ring, maybe if we have a full grid for practice have Sumo, Carbonox and I start at the back and we try get through the pack without ballast and again with it. It will have the guys who appear to be the fastest here at the moment, while still having fast guys like Eclat, neljack and vtec cause not everyone has a perfect race.👍

It just seems wrong to give ballast to people just because they had a better race.

I wouldn't want to win a race or championship knowing that someone else would if they didn't have ballast, I don't know about anyone else..

For me, close competition > best guys always winning.

Just so we're clear, I'm not against it, and I would have liked it in Season's 1-3, just not Season 4 cause it's so hard to get through the pack while the reverse grid guys in high positions gets away.

Carbonox, if it's all about close competition and not about winning, why did you freak out when neljack lagged into you and it looked like he had won the Meganes?

And just for the record, I am strongly against success ballast, especially in a reverse grid format race.

The most problematic part is obviously when some top driver like akmuq finishes 10th in Autumn Ring's 1st race (because of getting knocked off, I guess) and then he basically gets to win almost freely with the potentially faster guys at the back, unable to get anywhere with their ballast. But well, at least the reverse grids give that second chance to those who have been wronged in the previous race and didn't ragequit like little vtec's or GTP_Johny's...

1) There's nothing close in it when I get full en - gi - ne damage and fall in the back of the pack.
2) It was the most unfair way ever to win a championship.
3) I wasn't even the best Megane driver, in qualifyings maybe but I sucked at racing, mostly because everyone kept up so easily with arcade draft.

If it were the front 5 or 6 reversed like BTCC then ballast would be good.

Seriously, it should be left how it is...

The racing has been extremely close in practise, which means that any of the drivers could come out on top from a scrap.

Also, every time Carbonox gets the ballast (which will be rarely :sly:) he will start saying "You only won 'cuz I had some concrete in my car."

And you will reply "huh".

I'm listening to everyone's views here, nothing is final. If people feel strongly against it I will not implement it.

Posted this in a visitor message to Dax.

Cars are to equal and with the aero loss from the weaker draft and the single drivetrain it will be useless.

Translated from Irish to English, he says "I am strongly against it too."

Huh.

I think I know Irish better than you, because he clearly said "Huh, I am not going to rebel against my excellent former teammate".

Seriously, if you guys are so against it (I've looked at the visitor messages) then we'll leave it be.

However, in Irish "teammate" and "team boss" appear to mean the same thing so I'm not sure which one he meant... :)

As we all seem off topic, I shall post off topic too.

I just had to scratch my head because my head was itchy.

Everything Carbonox says:

"Akmuq's a number 2"
"Akmuq you're slower then Furi"
"Huh"
"[insert name here] has a date"
"Huh"
"Mazda"
"Huh"
