Race 1 Turn 1 I got hit which pushed me into Carb, chain reaction. Everyone had scrapes tonight.

At the hairpin? I was a good two car lengths behind you and you just lagged straight on in the gravel. I was like "wtf...."

i adjusted the RPM setup, i like my oversteer you see
. i think i clocked up over 110 laps of practise today before the race. the time came in chunks, a few laps and another tenths fell, did that until i was happy with my consistency and setup. you defo good enough to get good results, you would have been top 6 in all races today guaranteed mate 👍

Which then sent me into the gravel, I'd worked my way up from about 9th to fighting for 2nd and then I get sent back to 10th.... Then fought again back to 2nd for R35 to push me off the track again!
Yeah, which sent Joe into me and I went from 1st to 13th.
You see a bit of a chain here, right? Seems to be me getting screwed over the most.

Guys reluctantly I have to announce my retirement from Toca.
My motivation to play GT5 seems to have taken a hit of late. Foolishly I thought I could run mid-pack with very little practice/setup.
This seems not to be the case with last nights results. Was changing setup between races out of desperation. I found myself on auto pilot for the last 15 or so laps of race 3, wanted to pull the car over and quit but hate it when some one does that 👎 so plodded on to the finish. The few times I was racing someone it was enjoyable and clean, a lot cleaner than when I used to run in earlier Toca series. Good luck to all for the rest of the season. Last night was a tight track and 1st race of season, there was always going to be some incidents, but from where I was (at the back) it looked good racing.

I've got indications quite a few are not happy with me, but no-one's PM'd me actually. I hit Dax (and slowed to let him by) because I clipped the grass started spinning and got clipped and sent across the track.) and forced into Carb, other than that....

I was annoyed with the lag shunts more than anything, but that was because there was like 4 or 5 in close range all with a bit of lag because it was at the start of the race...
Not REALLY your fault that the chain reactions happened, but your fault there was contact in the 1st place.

Not hinting anything. Especially not hinting that in the 2nd one he actually turned into me, no sir. I am not saying that if you look at 0:40 in the video you can see his wheel move left.

I hit people I know, but also trying not to get run over - there's a reason I decided to hang back for the majority of races 2 and 3.

No, you can't, he wasn't turning left, if you're going to go for an overtake around the outside you better hope the guy in front has his line changed, because he doesn't have to, you would wanna brake late and stick you're car on the apex to make that work, not hang it around the outside, as that's way too risky.

Right, some news. Team Toad have withdrawn full time and gedi will still make occasional appearances but this promotes Spurgy to a full time seat.
