Four Mazda's at top. :D

Also, DBC is looking extremely promising with the battle for a team title. ;)

Really 🤬 off yet again.

Race one was kind of my own fault, but Race Two was an absolute joke.

Surprised I am still close to the front considering the way I've been punted around.

I was right behind you dax when you got taken out in turn 1 race 2, that was brutal, looked like haitch just lost control, snap oversteered right into you.

the grass must have a layer of frost on it, caught me out in every race...

The Mazda's looked really stable on the grass, was quite annoying, good races I suppose, first race which cost me quite a few points, almost had the win but came 6th, nevermind, second race I clipped the grass in first which was really annoying, then couldn't get passed so stayed in 4th, but had a good last race coming 2nd 👍

Great, at least there's something good about the Mazda, but unfortunately that didn't compensate for the HORRIBLE acceleration 👎

I wonder what I could have achieved with a better acceleration. Maybe even a win. Who knows?

I don't think you can argue the Mazda was bad, seen as there were lots of Mazdas up front, and now up front in the championship.

The cornering was perfect, but honestly, I could never get within passing distance by drafting, and I do have all the same parts as the other Mazda's...

Could it make a difference if I had shorter gears?

first race was Mazda 1-2-3-4 without reverse grid interfering

I'm glad the short tracks are done with, only Monaco at end of season but its a long lap just tight confines.

Nurburgring will be fun

at suzuka a higher final drive ratio might help for acceleration but it depends on the car's powerband

that acceleration will hurt the Mazdas at Nurburgring 24h and Spa

Stewards Decisions have been made or potential penalties decided, replays to be checked tomorrow with race reports and standings as well.

another poor weekend for me with a DNF, 11th and 10th place finishes, and my highest finish being a 8th place in race 2 of tsbuska. the car doesn't seem to be the same as testing, still understeers, also were other's masking there own pace as i was competitive during testing

I'm wondering, wouldn't the makes' championship be a bit closer if only the best result for each car counted from every race?

I feel for you, you and Haitch have been so unlucky.

Race Reports tomorrow, but here are Stewards Decisions:

DK
-25pts from Overall & Independents for poor driving, last warning before ban.

Haitch / Dax
Racing Incident. No further action taken.

DrifterJoe
Warning after clash with Spurgy in race 1.

Atin
+10 sec penalty in Race 3 for clash with neljack.

Brooks bitterly disappointed with comeback
Tom Brooks, second driver for RPM made his return to racing at Suzuka East this event, with largely unsuccessful results. He finished near the back of the grid at all races and even pulled out of the last race. He explains to us the reasons behind his poor pace and results.

"I'm going to come right out and say that I do not like Suzuka East as a circuit, I find it too narrow and pointy for my liking, in these NGTC Cars anyway. I had been struggling with pace whilst testing for my return and it showed today, I was only 0.5 seconds off during the second sector and I was somehow losing nearly 0.8 seconds during the final two corners. My qualifying was dreadful as was my race pace, I have no-one to blame but myself. I changed set-ups during the race to try and cure the excessive wheel-spin, it helped but the mid-corner grip just wasn't there and I was just understeering awfully. I'm disappointed not only for myself but for the team, we could have scored some good results tonight and I let the them down. I was running second-to-last in Race 3 and my ankle had been hurting since the end of Race 2, I decided it was better to cut my losses and avoid being an inconvenience. I hope for a better showing at the Nurburgring, to try and affirm my place at RPM for at least the remainder of the season."
