I'll investigate and do some laps tomorrow before I open up the lounge. Thanks for the heads-up.

Not even close... for example, another member here & I ran two races today, same track, current TOCA regs & then a PP race set at 488.

using TOCA the gap was a minute

using PP; under 2 seconds.
What sounds more competitive & entertaining??

Sounds like PP Is the way to go.

I will check. Remember the Ring is a longer track... though 40 seconds is a bit much... 10 I could agree with... but 40...

I also ran a 7:24 no it doesent have stage 3 engine bone stock 270 hp, so that said his times were ok, but the mazda or honda could
Keep up ,ran a 7:31 in honda no tune

RACE PREVIEW - 01 - Nurburgring Nordschleife (Change Time) (21 May)
2 LAPS / 25.9 MILES

Season 2 kicks-off with an event originally intended as the climax for Season 1, and it’s no easy task. The Nurburgring Nordschleife is the most daunting circuit on the planet stretching for 12 miles through the Eifel Mountains. That in itself is a daunting challenge, but the races are at different times, with varying light levels... One thing is certain... the winner will need skill and luck to conquer the “Green Hell”.

Also, the races will take place at 3 in game times - 12pm, 4pm and 8pm, when the light is low, and headlights are coming on...

Good luck to all - Launch Lounge tonight 7pm BST, tomorrow's Race Lounge Open's at 7pm BST as well.

Will we have accelerated time so we drive into dusk/darkness.
If someone gets away clean at the start it may be hard to catch him. This was part of the reason I won by a large margin last night. I could see the scrapping in my mirror as they held each other up.
The mazda was turning 7.30 / 7.31 laps in clean air, so looks like I'll be middle pack.

Nop, that's at 270Hp 1140Kg 484PP

So now we can tune the BMW?

So what does that mean then? So what are the new rules ie mods what are and not allowed?

BMW remain as stock. These restrictions just affect the Mazda and Honda. Sorry Ghova, will add you...

The most you can get from the BMW is 270 so how come the rest can go to 300 but BMW isn't

After an oil change the stock mazda was putting out 320, but have been cut back to 276. It also had 70kg added to weight.

With this rules issue, I'm opening the lounge now early for extra testing - join now!!!

I'm a tad confused now Mr M. I was under the impression the cars would be running pretty much the same power and weight. Has that
changed now?

I have changed it again - I reckon a small break either way is better... 285hp and 1100 kg is currently set rule, but BMW remains same.

Sounds like a good compromise 👍 I'm off for a quick smoke and then I'll be in for some practice

Sorry had to leave, but text was not working (tried to get 2 min break) and i really needed to pee. See you all tomorrow night.

New rules: 1100kg and 276hp. We ended the evening on a high note with a scenic 2-lapper of the ring... great racing.
