You are still spin city RP
It may look like I'm spinning up the tyres a lot (and maybe I am) but with some diff-fiddling, I'm a lot more confident throttling out of the turns

Come race day, now we're all on more or less the same power/weight, I reckon I can be competitive provided I'm not shunted out early on :ouch:

Looking forward to the big test on Friday 👍

I tried to give it a chance. It just had no get up and go. These other cars have so much torque compared to the Lexus. Maybe now that HP has been lower it might be better.

That's what I found at Monza it's no faster than my tuned civic '97

Hi guys, sorry for being a little absent, too much work...

So yesterday i had a little time for some practice at the ring (one hot lap, while waiting for some friends to join the room), what can I say, this cars are a little boring at the ring, mainly because the low power... but the handling is very nice though.

I manage a 7'25.xxx BMW@274HP 480PP (if i remember corectly) Racing Hards. These are the specs right?

With some proper tune I think something between 7'10.xxx 7'20.xxx it's possible.

I'll try to join you guys on friday, but i'm not sure if I can because is the final race of the DTM championship, and it starts at 9pm, and I still need to do some final tune on my car.

So if i'm not there, have fun...

7:25!!!! Thats 15 seconds quicker than me!!! And you are running at right spec as well....

I did't do nothing to the car, well, oil change and engine rebuild, hard tires max downforce some tuning, that's it...

As i said 274hp 480PP

Did you do that on public lobby or lounge?
Mine was in a public lobby, maybe that's the diference... and for some time now I think that the "race quality" when you set a lobby has some implications on the physics...
When I get home tonight I'll PM you for some testing...

What setup you using?

~463PP~
7:46.123 - Only a quick one lap run, didn't spend any time here at all. Just wanted a quick comparison. I will try to join in the today's Nurb practice. Truthfully, I'm not too concerned with the season opener & closer, Nurb has never been one of my "better tracks." I don't expect to do overly well here, hoping to gain a few points. What i am -a little- concerned with, is the stage 3 engines hiding in some of the BMW's. I'm not naming names, not calling anyone a cheat or a liar, but I am confident there's a least a couple in there. (Who care's though, no way to stop it now) The Lexus is undeniably still the underdog, but I feel like my Honda isn't too far from. You got to give it to the BMW's & Mazda's, their the ones to beat. I'll definitely have to fight hard to get in front & fight harder still to stay there. Regardless, it's should be rather fun and the winner's will achieve such, by their driving.
Good luck to everyone. Let's keep it clean & fun.

💡 Wont setting the PP sort any modding problems isnt there anyway of spotting scammers other than being a tad quicker?????

Your right on both.. No real way to spot the stage 3's, other than them being much quicker and yes, PP restrictions would better regulate the field. Plus would allow for a wider variety of parts & tunes, making the difference in tunes more crucial. It's been brought up, but overlooked. The gap in PP could be the difference between a decent amount of Aerodynamics/HP/weight.
~Really it's not the end of the world, as it still will come down to the driving.

But surely if he watches the replays he can see if anyone is using stage 3 because of the turbo gauge right!!

No, no turbo gauge, its not a turbo install. Their still running Naturally Aspirated(All-Motor)
But the Stage 3 -even detuned to 274HP- will provide a broader, stronger torque band; allowing for quicker acceleration.

PP restrictions suit me my BMW is kicking out at 270bhp and 483pp after aero oil change etc im concentrating on gearing to try for an extra edge but hey who knows?????

Mines 276bhp and 496 pp on the BMW what sort of pp are you looking to change it too

Is't that a little to much PP?
Mine BMW it's at 276HP and 480PP:odd:

Ho, and my time at tsukuba offline was 59.xxx just like the rest of you guys...

471-496 Range, On par with stock trim.

If my assumptions are correct,I wouldn't be surprised if VRacingFan(CALM_DAN)'s Lexus is less than my Honda's 463PP, or near that.
The Mazda's & BMW's are around the 480 range.

~496?!?!
Seems like you too may have the stage 3, or just your down-force is maxed out front & back. Regardless, we should be all the same PP and tune within, how we see fit.
