Accidentally clicked to install Burnout Paradise instead of clicking on GT5 so I may be a few minutes furi.

Why not 8? I was having dinner till 7.25 and planned to join for normal race time. Perhaps if this decision was made earlier in the day stuff like this could be avoided.

Nice racing tonight folks :D, not exactly the entry I wanted to make but once my shifter broke there was no winning anything. My laps were about 1.5 second slower on the paddles. Got to used to the shifter as I've been using it for about 2 years now

Better get it stripped for Nurburg :D

Two things RE Season 3:

Disconnects: I think we need a rule. Maybe you are allowed 1 disconnect without penalty, then a stop-go penalty will be mandated?

Start time: Apologies, I should have sorted that earlier. Next season will not have those issue though due to a room re-set.

There should always be a drivethru penalty following a DC, if they made points on the previous race. DCs can easily be fixed/prevented with static IP & DMZ/Port Forwarding.

Congrats to driftking, series champ, and apologies to johnboy for Race 1. I had a BMW (Boat Monster Wackomobile) that would not behave. Race 2 and 3 I sorted it out.

Roll on Nurburgring, for a quadruple-header series finale!!!

That was one crappy way to win the title...4th, 8th, 8th...

Yes, please. I am quite pee'd off about that so it would be good if times could be stuck to and if not then announced at a reasonable time. I thought it was pretty ridiculous to do that when you could've had the possibility of a full grif if you'd waited. But oh well, season 3 I guess!

Well done driftking18594 by the way!

Congrats to DK but just curious... what happened to you at the 2nd race? :dopey: I just suddenly passed you on the final straight when you were nowhere to be found...

I decided to take a DT penalty after hitting vtec.

I doubt everyone would do every event, there always tends to be room for those who didn't sign up that early... But we shall keep the Season 3 talk in its own topic from now on :)

I had an eventful race. Still feels annoying that I'm always the victim of the useless lag hits :( Race 3 had an epic finale, I could have won but went wide before the corkscrew (under pressure again...) and couldn't keep Johny and RP behind... Nürb is going to be one of my strong courses however, and I'm prepared to taste some success :)

Tonight was good. I was shocked to see BMW of RacerPaul leading to be honest.... Epic stuff, one more meeting until these cars are retired....

went through pits on end of lap 9 (that's not a drive through) lucky for us your car got held up.

Race 1 was absolutely brilliant. A 6 way battle, at times, for 4th position. I really should have got 4th but I made quite a few mistakes.:banghead:

Race 2: Berrrrrialliant.

Race 3: Was spun by vtec but then caught up to PJ and he was a really good defending driver.:)

8th, 1st, 10th.
Can't wait until the new season, I just wish the paintjobs on the touring cars could be saved as actual paints so we could put them on the cars next season.:)

Would be nice if the races were slightly longer :), no spaces left in season 3 :(

I'm probably not going to be there for race 1 so check with Furinkazen for spaces in the series. I would also like longer races, perhaps a one off combination of 3 races being either non championship or triple points. Nurburgring 6 laps?

Races will still be short because it's the way Toca does it. I prefer it this way, yeah sure I like races with pitstops as well but in this series you really have to rush, it's a sprint race and I just love it!:D

I still think we should have one-lap qualifying with everybody watching you. That is the best way to do qualifying. FULL STOP.

Anyways, we are in the wrong thread.:P

Takes too long.... 30 minutes should be more than enough time for everyone to get in & dial a time.

Akmuq can you clear your messages please.:indiff::indiff:

I have a proposal - next weekend shall we trial the Season 3 Qualifying Format?

~Room open 7pm (as usual)

~Practice 30min, until 7.30

~Then quick room re-set (change track)

~Set countdown timer for 15 minutes, and go! 1 15 minute session, everyone on track. How about it?
