Like I said, 6 weeks or so until we start. Plenty of time. 👍

Cool does that mean the season starts in August?

TOCA R7 - 9 July (laguna Seca)
TOCA R8 - 16 July (Nurburgring, final races)
NASCAR Trucks - 23 July
NASCAR Trucks - 30 July
NASCAR trucks - 6 August
NASCAR Trucks - 13 August
NASCAR Trucks - 20 August
TOCA Season 3 - 27 August onwards

Thats the plan, but the truck series may be cancelled if more people do not join (You TOCA guys may like it... check it out https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=210444 )

Here ya go...

Have a good one 👍

Mulsanne Race Tech (MRT) are pleased to announce their second car will be driven by Akmuq!

There seems to be more of 16 of valid entries right now. Which ones have the 'right to enter first'?

Season 2 and regular drivers first, but generally its first come first served, get in as you can. This season I had 20 drivers for R1 registered but 14 showed up...

I was already entered if you were referring to me carbonox.

Anyways, looks like a 5-team constructor championship. Like Le Mans, Peugeot, Audi, Rebellion, Pescarolo and errr Aston Martin.(Sorry to whoever has that pace.)

We are Rebellion I reckon... always chasing the BMW diesels (sorry getting confused )

So we have a constructors' championship? With the uneven number of different cars, I'd believe only the best result from each race counts for every manufacturer, eh?

I'm proably going to have the pace of the Aston Martin . Can't figure out the LSD and tranny settings :(

Tranny is pretty simple, you just need to test out the car's top speed and adjust accordingly. To be honest, my Mazda in Season 2's previous round was bone stock except for the transmission. I don't know a thing about suspension or LSD, but I can still decently compete for some reason :dopey:

Same here. I know nothing about LSD either, but I have 2 wins over 2 seasons of this series.

What is the difference between independents and drivers championship?

Long but simple explanation ahead:

Say these are the results of a race:

1st Driftking (DC Motorsports)
2nd Furinkazen (MRT)
3rd RacerPaul (Independant)
4th Diego (DC Motorsports)
5th CALM DAN (DB Motorsports)
6th Carbonox (Independant)
7th tombrooks97 (DB Motorsports)
8th Akmuq (MRT)
9th cunny17 (independent)
10th RedDragon (independant)

The Drivers Championship Points would be awarded as per the whole race, as normal so:

1st Driftking (DC Motorsports) 15pts
2nd Furinkazen (MRT) 12pts
3rd RacerPaul (Independant) 10pts
4th Diego (DC Motorsports) 8pts
5th CALM DAN (DB Motorsports) 6pts
6th Carbonox (Independant) 5pts
7th tombrooks97 (DB Motorsports) 4pts
8th Akmuq (MRT) 3pts
9th cunny17 (independent) 2pts
10th RedDragon (independant) 1pt

The Independents pts would ONLY go for Independents drivers, so:

1st Driftking (DC Motorsports)
2nd Furinkazen (MRT)
3rd RacerPaul (Independant) 15pts
4th Diego (DC Motorsports)
5th CALM DAN (DB Motorsports)
6th Carbonox (Independant) 12pts
7th tombrooks97 (DB Motorsports)
8th Akmuq (MRT)
9th cunny17 (independent) 10pts
10th RedDragon (independent) 8pts
(continuing for independents all down the field)

And teams pts would count for teams so:

1st Driftking (DC Motorsports) 15pts
2nd Furinkazen (MRT) 12pts
3rd RacerPaul (Independant)
4th Diego (DC Motorsports) 10pts
5th CALM DAN (DB Motorsports) 8pts
6th Carbonox (Independant)
7th tombrooks97 (DB Motorsports) 6pts
8th Akmuq (MRT) 5pts
9th cunny17 (independent)
10th RedDragon (independant)
(continuing for teams all down the field)

Hope this clears things up

Place left for one more driver? :D

Edit: Just realized the title said Entries Full.

Team MRT are pleased to report a successful test at tsukuba with their two Infiniti G35's. Lap times were reportedly below the 1:02 mark as drivers MrMulsanne and Akmuq got to grips with the new NGTC formula.

Likewise there has been a report on the small but promising one man's team, Carbon Motorsport, recently testing at Tsukuba with the brand new Ford, easily distinguished by its black color. The team's lone driver Carbonox was able to slowly find the pace around the track, finishing with a 1'00.817 time at best and closing in on the 1-minute barrier. In an interview he told that he had left the suspension setups alone for now, but still found the handling of the car excellent even on tighter corners, and hinted that the team may be able to put up resistance against bigger teams when it comes to tracks with several tight corners.

Best time I had today was a 1'01.2

That was in the online lounge. The car was slightly slow on turn in and a tiny bit twitchy on the way out but I more or less fixed it.

MrMulsanne, I will PM you a setup later.;)
