Fantastic racing everyone. The Toyotas kicked ass a little to much so something should be adjusted there. Might not be able to make all the races just cos its a Saturday night.

An 8% Power Cut For Toyota is to be mandated for Round 2 at Tsukuba in 2 weeks time.

I could have had a clean sweep if I didn't understeer wildly at the long banked corner on lap 12 of the last race. :ouch:

Sorry I couldn't make it but I was having connection issues anyway. I might be able to take part in race 3 because the GPEKC is over then.

BTW siza1 told me that he is replaceable for round 2 so 3 slots open I guess.

Great race everyone, clearly the Toyotas were in front by almost 2 seconds per lap, then the second group by the mazdas and a third group by the hondas.

In my case, my honda after 7-10 laps lost most of the grip in the front making it so difficult to drive, as a reference in the long left banked turn at laps 2 - 6 the speed was 200 kph (120 mph), after lap 10 the speed was in average 180 kph (108 mph), Was it your case MrMulsanne?

For the next race as team honda we can work for a better set up in our cars, and try to find out how we can keep the race pace the whole race.

Today was great, the toyotas and the mazdas are in other league, but we can battle with them for about 3 - 5 laps then the hondas after lap 7 start to loose their pace.

Now talking about the race, I saw that a lot of us (me included) passed over the chicane several times, so maybe penalties should be enabled? and I had 3 to 5 hard crashes so maybe heavy damage make us run more carefully, those are just toughts.

Again, today was great

Thank you every one, really waiting to meet you all on track in two weeks.

Yes, i remember that. I was right behind you and took advantage for the win :D

It was a great nights racing, although perhaps a little crashy-bashy at times?

A driver called am-something or other got very upset with me and left because he said I ran him off the road in the sweepers

I say not. We were side by side at full pelt going into them with me on the inside. I wasn't backing out because I had the
inside. He had nowhere to go but off unless he backed out, which he chose not to do

Sounds reasonable, it'll reduce it to about 290bhp

See you all at Tsukuba!

I found horrific understeer and tyre wear from Lap 10 onwards, struggling to do 57.0 second laps.

The chicane? It's Touring cars - f their is a kerb, cut it :sly: but yeah, as long you have 2 wheels on track it's ok.

:

I might have seen that incident. I think I was involved. I hit a Mazda, spun, and I saw a Toyota and Mazda just bashing each other at the sweeper till the Mazda speared off.

BTW, Championship standings + photo's coming soon.

The Grid for Race 1

caperinginside7.jpg

Mazda dominated early on, but driftking18594 (3rd) overhauled them to claim victory in the season opener.

caperinginside8.jpg

There was no stopping driftking18594 on his way to a second win, despite it being a reverse grid event.

caperinginside9.jpg

Race 3 was quite simply insane as Castrol Honda and Goodyear Mazda used their reverse grid positions to try every trick in the book to keep Toyota behind them.

However RacerPaul came from last to score a win, and ensure a Toyota clean sweep.

Rounds 4,5,6 at Tsukuba in 3 weeks time! (had to change because of NASCAR Series Calendar)

The Lexus was bloody quick, but aways seemed a little tail happy. And next two days I'm doing some offline testing to equalise the Lexus around now. Will post results.

Siza1 can probably race again but if he's erratic then kick him. He accidentally took Diego out in race 1 and I think he's sorry about that.

Siza said to me he'd practise in time for Tsukuba.

I might as well join in as it's alternating with the NASCAR. I haven't got any touring car yet but I'll try get the Lexus to give them a better chance in the team points. They only have SuperShouden at the moment.

Sorry man, I'm going to step aside and let someone else in.

I've got a hockey match on Saturday and then we are away to see an Ice Hockey game next Saturday. Sorry about that, If I can ever make a practice or something though I'll defiantly come in to run some laps with you guys!

Can you put up a calendar so we know when each race is. At first I thought it was every week and then I was told it was every 2 weeks but now it is every three apparently so can you put a calendar with race start times on your main thread because it would be very helpful.
