I know but when Con & I were side by side we were very close I didn't smoke him in straights & he didn't smoke me in corners.

Because he had 50% less grip than you... You should have blown by him. You had no tyre wear, the others had like 30% wear all round...

Dang if I would of had a better start that would have been my first GTP race win.

Maybe next time mate ;)

Beat Spettel twice now. 0.017 though. Top three separated by less than a second. Oh, did anyone mention I won!! :D

1. Received no complaints about tonight from anyone.

Well, as expected, there was quite a lot of chicane cutting where people used the advantage to either stay ahead or get ahead. But I won't bother listing them all. I'm not saying it was all on purpose, but when you miss your braking point, you're not supposed to just take the straight line through and continue.

Having said that, some guys out there also really showed great race-craft. Those were the nicer battles today.

For me, it felt like an uphill battle all the way. I think it was really only the BMW's that were worse off as everyone else was faster on the straights. Being pretty quick on a whole lap didn't give me an advantage, because I hardly ever was able to have a clear lap. Always someone in the way. Spa should be a little better. I hope.

BMW will get a boost. Rules were two wheels on track but it was accepted that people do make the odd cutting mistake, sustained cuts would result in penalties.

I admit to cutting the section after the bridge in R2, but that was because I was flat and thought there was going to be more understeer!

Certainly rough and tough but still good racing from most of the field. Standings due in a little while, compiling now.

Did Liquid turn up?

Who? :odd:

Just a shad under half way them 11 races down, 13 to go, 4 weeks down, 4 to go:

MONZADRIVERS.png

Overall Spurgy extends his lead, I pass Chris as we both gain on Snowcrash. Atin climbs into the top 12, Fox drops out.

Little change in independents.

RPM extend their lead as Go Green Racing make a debut with Team Extreme Michelin.

Volvo's extermination in their final TOCA Season is relentless - chance of maybe breaking the 1000 points mark if they keep it up.

Liquid, he was supposed to enter as a wildcard at Monza, he had my recommendation.

Oh never heard anything :ouch: We would have had six people going for the quali slots had Jakob made it, and Frasier not withdrawn last minute. And would have been 4 spots if Fox didn't show.

Considering weather next season it should be a session of flying laps to determine quali.... So we have Q1 (bottom 12) and then Q2 (top 12 drivers).

Just have the first 16 people who sign up race full-time and observe their driving in a private test to make sure they're not wildly off the pace or erratic.

Perhaps. Going to work on a mid season review tomorrow maybe, unless you want to write an article Tom?

Give me some subjects via PM and I'll see what I can do.

More like 3 or 4% less grip really, its really not that big a gap, Spurgy would be faster on Inters than you on Hards, it's not really that much of a lap-time difference, especially with the constant draft.

The tyres of the FWD cars where down 50% after 5 laps in the dry. The BMW had lost around 20% all around.

I've won 3 in a row and 2/2 at Nurb :P Hoping for a 3/3 soon though, came close at quite a few tracks last season after somehow getting it at Monza :)

I do think I was the fastest at Monza I could just never show it, I did A 2:00:8 in quali with no draft

Well Volvo are certainly routing the opposition in their final TOCA season.

Whos testing for 7 Mr M?:dopey:

All testing being done by me. I'll tell you I am using for testing at moment SSRX for speed tests, Motegi East for hot laps, and Autumn Ring Mini for handling and chassis tests. Reckon i've spent around 4 hours testing so far.

44 hours should be somewhere close to what you need:crazy: Thats what i find anyway.:banghead:

I thought you and Furi were drafting each other, still I've done well for a car I started driving last week
