Sumo got in knowing he was going to be DQ'd. You have to stick with the BMW for the rest of the season mate.

Just tried the new tune with the bmw its better but it seems to still lack top end power
However if you put the sports cat on it and a new e c u we get a lot more peak power.

Yes, but it's horrible in the corners, it might even need a boost :(

Times at Spa:
2.34.8 for BMW, lost 0.3 in sector 1 though.
2.35.6 for the Infiniti.

The Infiniti has massive understeer on initial turn in and only turns well if you really crank the wheel. :ill:

I am finally doing Motegi as Furi did ask me to see how cars are after the 2.09 update and unless others have gotten faster the Infi is not bad. (On my weird tune :P)

Only doing 10 or so laps of each since the round is over. Sorry for lack of test results work had me busy lol.

Edit: Here are the times I managed for Motegi..

Volvo: 1:28.1. (1:28.0 possible as was only a tad off with a little more in it) Spurgy did a 1:28.0 in it pre 2.09 so it seems largely unaffected imo. Also of the FFs it is now by far the best handling car.... :scared:

Honda: 1:28.3. I did a 1:28.1 pre 2.09 so the CR-Z has lost alot since to get the new time I needed to drastically change my tune.. It handles very barge like now, very different to the car I remember..

Mazda: 1:28.5. Again this could do 1:28.1/2s so it has lost a reasonable chunk of pace, the most of all the Toca cars. I had to add massive amounts of rear toe etc to get it to the new time and it still feels very understeery.. So I can sort of see where Carb etc are on about.

BMW: 1:28.8. With it's new mods it's faster but since it's times pre 2.09 we're a lesser spec hard to know whats what with it. What I do know is it could go alot faster with a better driver in it, perhaps down to the 28.5/6s. Overall for me it handled ok but not great.

Infiniti: 1:28.9. Again not much info pre 2.09 to go on but for me this was my favorite to drive. It had a nice feel to it and pointed into the bends quite nicely, although somehow it is still slowest.

To wrap it up on race pace not outright pace as it shown above my thoughts on how each car would fair is this. The Volvo would be the best over a distance due to it's outright pace advantage and good handling. The CR-Z and Mazda would be able to hold off the rwds for the fiirst half but in the 2nd half the tyre wear from the understeer they have would make them easy meat. The BMW and Infiniti would jump some cars off the line and could leach off the draft until the tyre wear went their way allowing them to gain more places.

Other tracks to be tested yet but on Motegi East thats my thoughts.

Thought this whilst testing.

It is with great pleasure fellow TOCAns, I will be leaving the premises of the Playstation 3 for the novelty of socialising with the outside world using biological mediums.

Cheerio.
