There may not be all that much worth commenting on. I mean if they've just added a car or two, what else would really have changed?

I just find it really weird on how you have a game being released in about 6 months, and you release barely any info about it? Shouldn't news start piling in really soon, because if it doesn't, I'm expecting a delay in the Japanese release, which means a delay here in US and Europe:indiff:

As I pointed out earlier that article is full of mistakes, don't take it seriously.
I may be too naive, I don't know, but I personally didn't think it was full of mistakes.

And how can you go offroad on R246? :dopey:
I didn't have the impression he was talking about literally going offroad on R246. Although I understand the wording could be taken in different ways.

Anyways, what's the next conference that we can expect to go on the cycle of building our hopes up and then be disappointed again?

Care to elaborate? Any mention of developing a full series? Any more info at all?

There was no mention of anything, just lots of video being played on a bank of monitors located around the GT booth.

The video promoting Nascar and WRC had footage from the game engine of Nascar cars on an oval and one spinning out while in the bottom corner the nascar logo was displayed. Then the scene changed to game engine footage of a wrc car on a long winding dirt track while the WRC logo was displayed on the bottom right of the screen. Then there was some scenes of a damaged subaru getting some air.

Thanks for the report. I know there was probably a lot of noise but did you notice any improvements to the tire and engine noise of the cars?

There was a lot of noise and it was difficult to hear much of anything, although when I lost control of the car the tire screeching became very loud for sure.

How are the FFB effects? Are they stronger now? There is nearly no FFB in GT5P when you compare it with Supercar Challenge...

Haven't played Supercar challenge so I don't know. I did find that there is quite a bit of 'feel' through the wheel. Even when driving on a straight stretch the car would shimmy and you would feel it in your hand.

They seem to be making a big deal of the March 2010 release. I have three different promotional posters and all have that date printed on them.

That sounds like the E3 trailer, so nothing new.

Proof at :52 seconds in of that video that the track map on the dash does change (not fixed to Fuji).

I hope we won't get that trash dance dance revolution music in gt5...can you imagine?...
