Tokyo Motor Show - Now live - Video /photos, SLS, 458 & FT-86 playable

I'm actually talking about how no one uses the cockpit view. Not a single journalist decided to do some reporting, pathetic.

I noticed when the GT girls get the game ready for you, they put it on bumper cam. Seems very few people change the view from there.

Edit: I also noticed in that latest video that the FT-86 shifts like a automatic.

Have I missed something or that last video confirms quite a few tracks?

At 1:30 the guy points the video at a screen playing a movie I've never seen before. It's showing cars racing in tracks never shown in GT5 yet as far as I know. The first one I believe I've never seen before, the second appears to be grand canyon, the third I can't remember the name but it was in GT3 and 4, the forth is most likely amalfi coast, and than the dude pull the camera away from the only screen that matters...

^ Really? Than I did miss something lol.

I'll take a look into it to see if there's more in the video that I missed.

Blademask.Nothig to thank :) I think everyone of us is dieing for every bit of info we can get.Makes the waiting not easyer, but better than nothing :D

I just find it really weird on how you have a game being released in about 6 months, and you release barely any info about it? Shouldn't news start piling in really soon, because if it doesn't, I'm expecting a delay in the Japanese release, which means a delay here in US and Europe:indiff:
I'd say we know a lot more about this game now than we knew about Uncharted 2 in April, for example, and that game turned out pretty well.

The actual driving we already know lots about. We know:
- car numbers, and most of the manufacturers, maybe PD still has one or two surprises, Maserati maybe?
- we have a good idea on what tracks are going to be in, at least around 10-15 of them anyway (although we don't know if theres going to be only 20 circuits/locations or a whole lot more, it all got lost in translation and is very vague).
- We know there is a real time damage engine in the making and it will most likely affect performance on all cars (although on road cars it will only be minor body damage as opposed to structural and bodywork damage like we have seen in demos)
- we know the physics and graphics are going to be awesome, naturally.
- The tuning, it seems pretty obvious to me there is going to be the same basic tuning we saw in previous games, maybe a little bit expanded in terms of weight reduction, and no adding turbos to cars that already have big turbos, like the Veyron for example.
- Kaz mentioned aerodynamic adjustments, so we're talking possible bodykits diffusers, splitters etc. Or it could just be spoilers like in GT4, but i think we will get more than that. We can safely expect some form of modification that was not in GT4.

We don't know full track numbers, whether they're going to have point to point rally stages, whether more F1/open wheel cars will be put in the game. We know very little about the online other than private rooms and what we have to go on in prologue. Livery editor is unconfirmed. Its possible there is something in, but i doubt it will be as in depth as other racing games.

I'd say we actually know a lot about this game so far actually :)

Not sure if this one was posted before. This guy seems to know the circuit though. 👍

Final someone who has a decent idea of what good driving is. Except for the crash with the blue car he raced a pretty clean race. The Ai seems to get a little nervous when you get near them. One thing is for sure though, this game is beautiful and plays silky smooth.

...no adding turbos to cars that already have big turbos, like the Veyron for example...
Actually, the 4 turbos in the Veyron are pretty tiny ;)

If I'm not mistaken, they're the same size and trim as those that come on the current Golf GTI.

Standard physics, at least it looks like it.
He doesnt have to control the throttle at all. Pedal down, up, or a quick lift.

Well thats just to reduce turbo lag, so instead of giving it one huge turbo they just gave it more little ones :dopey:

But still, adding a stage 4 turbo kit to a veyron... I was already a bit sceptical about adding big turbos to 900bhp lmp cars

FOR FFFFFFFF SAKES, YAMAUCHI ALREADY SAID IN XAVIER OCAMPO'S INTERVIEW THAT YOU COULD CHANGE BUMPERS, SIDESTEPS, WINGS, AND HOODS!!!!!11111111

Heck, i still dont know why people still doubt about this, thats like doubt about Online mode.... :grumpy:

The song is in the background because the GTPSP intro runs all the time on the screens there:

And this is the song:

Really good Drum 'n' Bass. 👍
