Hey just a thought and i might try this for my next vector (but only when the RS4 is finished). Has anyone ever thought of combining this thread, with vectoring? ;)

Edit: if u want some pics try my sig (just ask if u want some in a bigger resolution) :)

EDIT!: Finished! in approx 2hrs :D, one GT90, fully vectored, using 90% gradients and on the bg too :)
Really happy with how it came out and how fast i managed to make it look decent.

I thought i had commented on this, must've got distracted by a squirrel or something. Really like it, very clean, very vectorish and a good use of gradients 👍 Got anything new on the go?

 Ooooh yeah, that is a beauty. Everything is properly perfect; lights, bodywork, rims 👍 👍

As for the CF, i think about it as essentially dark and light lines. Before i was creating the dark lines and it looked ok, but there was something not quite right. Now i'm using a medium intensity gray which is acting as the light lines. This way it looks right over the dark bits of bodywork and where the pattern passes over the light bits, you make it even lighter :) It's all covered in my latest tutorial :D

I really like it too, as Don said, good use of gradients. One crit though - the, uh, turn signals don't look round. Are they supposed to look like that?

you never saw it ;)
heehee they were supposed to be round but i guess i was trying to get it done too quickly!

Edit: Argh i just hit the quote button like thrice before i managed to direct my mouse towards 'edit' :dunce:

anyway.
