Tooned/Vectored Cars + Stuff

Hey just a thought and i might try this for my next vector (but only when the RS4 is finished). Has anyone ever thought of combining this thread, with vectoring?

EDIT!: Finished! in approx 2hrs , one GT90, fully vectored, using 90% gradients and on the bg too
Really happy with how it came out and how fast i managed to make it look decent.

I really like it too, as Don said, good use of gradients. One crit though - the, uh, turn signals don't look round. Are they supposed to look like that?

Ooooh yeah, that is a beauty. Everything is properly perfect; lights, bodywork, rims 👍 👍

As for the CF, i think about it as essentially dark and light lines. Before i was creating the dark lines and it looked ok, but there was something not quite right. Now i'm using a medium intensity gray which is acting as the light lines. This way it looks right over the dark bits of bodywork and where the pattern passes over the light bits, you make it even lighter It's all covered in my latest tutorial

heehee they were supposed to be round but i guess i was trying to get it done too quickly!

Nothing yet though i do have a folder full of nice pics(about 20) i want to use labeled 'pics for vector'
