Is the B&W Murcielago color coded/locked?

I tried turning it a pastel purple(ish?) colour, and it just turned grey.

Very nice though, I like how some of the lines fade off.

It's a gif image, therefore it has an indexed colour profile saved for it. In Photoshop, go Image/Mode/RGB to change the colour profile to something easier to work with.

That's what I thought, thanks.

Also...my brush tool is grayed out/unselectable? (I looked at your guide, which is very nice, by the way.)

I don't want to turn this into a troubleshooting thread or something, so I'll just leave it at that.

That Zonda is so good I made a WP for my widescreen. Hope you don't mind U18C!

Looks perfect 👍 I see you're using the same style as me for Windows :D Good choice!

Gonças: Nice so far! You might want to take another look at the white areas on the car, especially on the bonnet, but aside from that it's on the way to be another cracker :)

Snortin Norton: No idea about that one, unless you're trying to paint onto a layer which is locked on is active (like text for instance).

Vonie: Man that looks awesome 👍 👍 Great pose and those sunglasses just look fab! Got any more like this?

Another update on the Eclipse:

Gonças: Thats looking pretty nice, one thing i'll say before you forget later (and trust me ive seen it done a few times) Make sure that you colour that wing mirror in black/carbon (if it is) rather than leaving it blue :)

Don: Cracking so far, cant wait to see what you can do with this, not too fond of the subject 'rice' but i'll forgive you this time ;)

Vonie: Whoa, thats vector? Holy crap it looks so real, you got any bigger resolutions of it? Also how on earth did you manage to achieve taht in just one hour? :scared:

I kinda cheated, doing a gradient for the sky and first line of mountains. Then medianing the ground behind the person. Then I cut him out and darkened a lot, leaving the Avaitors bright.

Bigger. There are some rough spots, but meh.

gonças
how stupid would ihaveto be to do that! LOL this aint my first...

thnks guys 👍

Well i just thought id mention it since a guy on deviantart (Dangeruss no less), did just that on one of his Vexels,(certainly not his first, more like his 100th vector/vexel) and he is probably the most talented vector artist i have ever come across....
this was it, although its been edited and updated now :\
Dangeruss' sunset celica

Yeah too right, hasn't been this busy here in a while :)

Gonças: The wheels are always the toughies. I still think that all of the white on the car including on the windscreen would benefit from being less intense.

Norton: Nice one! Not too sure on the red background though :P

Tried a Gt4 pic out.. Too much blurring to try the background =/

Oh and I have to fix the contrast on the RX-7, it's not looking too right.

Auto Modelista with a GT4 watermark!!!

Just kidding.

@ Donbenni: Thanks for the kind words. My tire tread is very poor though, I think my original resolution was too small, and so it got terribly pixelated...

And Comet has poorly modelled headlights so I had to vector ones on a Porsche 911 .

Any suggestions for improvement? I suppose practise will take care of some of that; by the end of the comet I was already much more familiar with Photoshop than at the beginning.

Donbenni That´s your most detailed work until now as far as i know!
It´s gorgeous! Wondering what hapened to the Delorean thought....
Willing to see this one finished :)

Gonças I love the front bumper, cool details there. I´m unsure about the colour tought, but it depends a lot on what do you have in mind for it.
And yea the rims are always complicated. Don´t stop now :)

Snortin Norton That nor fair man. You aren´t playing by the same rules :)
Nice tuned body :):):) and wonderfull detail on the "bumpers".

MdnIte A diferent style around. Keep working on it 👍 Would love to see it in a bigger size...

Snortin: Add detail to the eyes. She looks freaky without them! Looking good though!

Goncas: Making the paint look more glossy would really improve it.

Donbenni: What can I say? As a car I hate it! (not a fan of that kind of modding) but as a piece of vector work, great details, nice paintwork . I can't wait to see the engine!

Yeah i'm getting closer and closer to having to do that engine bay :scared: Quite a lot of details! Thanks :)

Thanks mate :) The DeLorean didn't work out unfortunately, i just couldn't get the colouring to look at all right. Might go back to it later.

 Yeah i agree 👍 Nice work Norton. A few jagged edges on the body; were you using the lasso tool without anti-aliasing selected?

Thanks! I would love to make it larger but this isn't my own source image..

I just vectorized something I found on the net :indiff:

goncas : Goddamit, your rims are so well done. Good job!
