I think they look great!Initial RacingI dont know if I like these auto trace in AI pieces.
I'd be willing to offer but my end of year exams are just around the corner. My time on the computer is becoming less and less because of the increasing need to study.neon_dukeI think they look great!

[edit] Well, having looked at the link above the Saleen, maybe I can't do it. So is anybody interested in colorizing it for me as well? I'd be truly appreciative.
I notice that alot too. You dont get that with alot of peoples cartoon-style works.ALPHAOne thing I am worried about with vectoring is that people are just tracing the shape of the colours not the actual shape of the object.

So, how do you guys do this? I'd like to do one of my wife's new TSX, but short of hand-tracing it in Photoshop, I don't know how to start. Are you using Illustrator (or whatever has replaced Illustrator these days) and autotracing?
If so, is anybody willing to vector the image for me? I can color it up if I have the line art (I think). Thanks!

http://donbenni.deviantart.comicemanshooter23Can someone point me too the vector tutorial by donbenni? I searched but nothing came up.
That would be great! I read through Donbenni's tutorial, and I think I could handle it (though not as well as you guys), but I just do not have the time. The pictures I have of my wife's actual car have lots of bizarre shadows from a tree on them, but here's a great pic to start with. It's even the right color!under18carbonI think I could do it, seeing as I have plenty of free time for the time being. If you could supply me with a reference picture (or I'll go find one, or you point me to one), I'll start work 2 days from now. 2 days because I need to reformat my PC and reinstall everything.

Of course not! Yours, donbennis, 'carbons and many others cartoon style vectors are brilliant but the realisticish look some try to achieve just end up looking filtered. I draw the objects then colour them around it's shape, not the shapes of colour themselves. Just tracing the blobs of colour is plain cheating.Initial RacingYou dont get that with alot of peoples cartoon-style works.
