wow JK..thats great. love the reflection of the intercooler and the highlights on the bodylines. The brown is a little peculiar though o.O. Can't wait to see the finished product!
 
Hey, thanks for the compliments guys. I am working hard on this one, so it is good to get some positive reinforcement. The work seems to be slowing down more and more as I get closer to being finished.

The brown may or may not stay. My problem is with the lack of the color in the whole car. I was toying with the idea of bringing some of the background into the reflections on the car. I will just have to see how difficult that proves to be.

Hm...the reflections would be a good idea to add color if you can pull it off. If not..i say add a SLIGHT tint of blue instead of the brown areas. Not so much so that it looks like a midnight blue, but just to pull it away from looking monochromatic.

And suzq..gj with the hotrod...gotta love the details :)

btw- just noticed, i have to finish the tire on my hotrod- lol... minor detail missing a quarter of a tire... it'll be updated.......when i feel like doin it. . :dopey:
 
Suzy, liked your hotrod, are you redoing the whole thing for a different view? Stumpydino nice charger.... lol, I'll go "whip" one up too right now.
 
Hey, when you people do glass and glass highlights, do you use actual transparent layers and adjust the percentage? Or do you piece in bits in the appropriate color?
 
heh actually i couldnt find much decent source pics on the internet so iv been diving into my mag collection and scanning em in, just happens the mags i get are "custom car" and "street machine"
