Oh...well I don't think you're going to be able to work much detail into that small an image. If you don't have the time to do a full-size car, I would recomend cropping out a small, interesting section (like a headlight/taillight) and doing it with nice detail. 👍 Just a tip.

If it was done in illustrator it wouldn't matter because it uses vector instead of pixel so it won't get distorted if sized.

I scraped it, yes, it's done in Illustrator, I'm going to work on a larger image. (1600x1200).

All in good time my friend, all in good time Just finished the interior Took most of this evening. Still need to do: Headlights, both front indicators and both front spots, the rear wheel , tyres front and back and was debating whether or not to carbonise the bonnet... It'll be done next week

Loving your ride man. Pimpin' I know what you mean about the wheels taking a while. That one front wheel on mine took a good couple of hours to complete. Was debating whether to include the reflection of the split bolts on the dish, but i think seeing how good it looks on yours has swung me! Those rims you've done there are awesome 👍

So, you're doing the interior.. should be nice to see. Its too much for me, just cover it with solid windows.

Thx, yeah it's mutual with the rims, they need so much attention to look good.

In a way you got a trickier mission with that 5*2 spoke to implement into the chromelip, but if you decide to give it a go, it should look awesome.

Favourite detail in your teaser is the turnsignal light. Dunno why it caught me but it looks very nice.

Btw, Alpha, I liked how you put a "twin edge" in transition to lighter areas of the RX8, hope you dont mind I try out my own version of that technique, really liked it. 👍

DB, make the lines that separate the fascias, skirt, door, and hood thicker. Remove the angular lines from the carbon pieces too. What works for some peoples styles dont always work on others. But then again, I havent seen all of what you have done so it might look good. But for what you are showing us, it doesnt look proper. The rest is looking superb so far.

A yellow Supra though?

A yellow Supra though?

Meh. Yellow looks like it'll work. In the photo it's white but as it's outside the whole car is tinged in blue. Hard to work with. Yellow looks good imo. With the black highlights (carbon lip, headlights, dark interior, anthracite rims) it should look good. Have to wait and see though. Cheers for the advice i'll see what works.

Thanks for the comments people. Will be doing the headlights tonight i hope or maybe the rear wheel. Both of which are going to be really tough to do!

Ah, you're implying that i'm stealing the idea from your featured deviation. Well no. I was basing the colour on what looked good with the shading etc. and on an awesome magazine featured Supra i saw i while back with a carbon lip.

I am pretty pissed off atm.

One of my harddrives is dead, and it's the one containing not only all I ever made in PS including this toon, but 30 gigs of mp3:s and lot of photos. ****. 👎

It started to make clicking noises yesterday and today it's just dead. I have a friend that's coming over later today to see if anything can be done to save its contents. Keep your fingers crossed, at least the photos is something I'd like back very bad.

Note to self: Start to take backups of important stuff, foo!

Had a mega problem getting data (including all my Photoshop stuff since the beginning of time...) off one of my DVDs during a data transfer session due to the DVD being pretty f'ed. Thought i'd lost all my stuff, but fortunately i was able to drag it all off eventually. Nasty feeling though.
