Uh, I'm really glad you wanted to help me, but I still don't get it. Sorry.
Let's try this again.
1) Okay, so you have something that you want to insert some gradient fills.
2) Click on the object that you want to insert the gradient.
3) Next, click on the gradient option (I don't know what it's called) thingy :
4) Press F9 to bring up the gradient tab.
5) Next,
alt+click on one of the gradient sliders (it doesn't matter which one).
(Sidenote : You can add more gradient sliders by pressing
alt+click and moving the slider around. And to remove a slider, just drag it off.)
6) Now, click on the fill option :
...and select a colour that you want!
7) Ta-da! I chose a pimpin' purple shade!
8) You can adjust the angle of the gradient by pressing G and selecting the gradient tool, or you could just insert the angle using the gradient tab (F9). You can also chose a
linear or
radial gradient there.
Done!
EDIT : Last but not least, do read the help files. They're there for a reason ya know xD
