I'll be sure to give round 2 a good go this weekend before the next rounds are released next week! Nice to see my time spent on Round 1 went well (30-60 mins per event) :)!

Who knows, maybe he's not American :sly: hehe
Looks like he's up into 6th overall now
Whoever he is :sly:, I would recommend him to also create a Canadian account something along the lines of Include_Canada. That way Canadian statistics will look better when PD look at them.

It would be even better if this Let_Canada_In driver could top North America with two accounts for 8-5 event. PD will then be back at base thinking there are two fast GT drivers, one from America and one from Canada obsessed about letting Canada in. They might try and resolve the issues they are having letting Canada in quicker then. However it will be a very hard challenge to be top in North America to get noticed though. I wish this American Canadian obsessed driver the best of luck ;).

Impressive stuff Milouse 👍. It will be interesting to see who will come out on top once all rounds are finished.

I've just added a new section/feature: on ranking page, you can now click on a player name to display a dedicated page that gathers all its entries in the database (<5000 for GT Academy).

Additionnaly, a bbcode to copy/paste on forums (for example in signature) is displayed on the page. Here's Skinny DG's page/link as an example:

Thats really cool !
Will there ever be stats for Seasonal Event Time & Drift Trials??

Yes, i'm planning to do it for Time Trials too, and to generate some kind of overall ranking/score on long term (like on last 10 or 20 events). Using what rule? Well, i have some ideas but you may want to discuss it and expose your views here ;-)

1st Place = 250 Points
2nd Place = 249 Points
......
....
250th Place = 1 Point

Leaderboards for Overall, and last 10 or 5 Events.

That would be my first thought. Would be awesome 👍:drool:
It's difficult to apply a scoring system that is fair.

Maybe take the F1 scoring system, stretch it out over 250 places
Code:
1st place 25 points
2nd place 18 points
3rd place 15 points
4th place 12 points
5th place 10 points
6th place 8 points
7th place 6 points
8th place 4 points
9th place 2 points
10th place 1 point

Becomes
Code:
1-25 250 points
26-50 180 points
51-75 150 points
76-100 120 points
101-125 100 points
126-150 80 points
151-175 60 points
176-200 40 points
201-225 20 points
226-250 10 point
Then Minus 2 points for your distance in places from the top place of your scoring division.
So,
Code:
2nd Place 248 Points
3rd Place 246 Points
....
..
25th Place 202 Points

26th Place 180 Points
27th Place 178 Points

Could multiply those score by 0.1 for a smaller range

I've just added the round 3 and 4 to the Top 5000 leaderboards and overal statistics/rankings.

@PR1VATEJ0KER,
I think i won't stop to Top 250 on Time Trials. Maybe Gap % could be used in the score calculation.

Milouse your page hasn't seemed to update for a while?

"a while"?

It has been updated every hour with no error in the past days, according to my logs.

It doesn't auto-update your page (in the sense that your browser window need to be refreshed by you), in case your issue lies here.

It has been updating for me.

Milouse is there any way you can do an overall for each individual round that can be sorted by country? Rather than each individual trial.

The overall rankins are static pages (because generating such leaderboard means that the database needs to search through (4x5000=) 20000 records to find each player times, this for every 5000 players, and for each round (4, currently), ie do 20000 searches.

But i think of a solution at browser level to filter non-wanted countries, that could do the job.

This is already the case, with 5000 records per round (!). You can't see more than 250 entries on official GT5 website, though.

Also, BLKJ Evolution, i've added a country filter on "Top Overall Round" pages: you can now click on a country in the list, this will hide all other countries (you won't see more entries).

I always get the following message when i try to see players stats:
Something did go wrong when you tried to access this website: the requested page doesn't exist. Please check the url you've entered, or go to the home page by clicking here.

This happens for me sometimes

I get it everytime.
The player stats never worked.

Interesting, could you paste an example of URL that doesn't work?

Also, what Browser do you use? (type and version, like IE8)

Edit: nevermind, i see it doesn't work under IE. Until i fix the problem, you can click on PR1VATEJ0KER's signature link and edit url with wanted PSNid.

Im using Firefox, latest version.
Im on this page: mygranturismo.net/rankings.php?sec=2

I click the UserName: GT-Club_Atho_
It points to here--> (incorrect link)
mygranturismo.net/undefined/rankings.php?online_id=GT-club_Atho_

I can see that if the "undefined/" is removed from the url, the page loads as normal.
mygranturismo.net/rankings.php?online_id=GT-club_Atho_

Ok, this is fixed, thanks. (you may need - once - to reload the page with the leaderboard before clickink on a name)
