Ok well if you want you can send the car over to me and i will see what I can do.

Dont think it will be to much of a problem, but I may not have time to get the car back to you straight away.

I have it on shared, look up my profile.

Hope the MR-S driving feel is good, going to test it tomorrow.

I think it should be alrite, dont think I tested it online though, heres some feedback from two well respected drivers:

Praiano63

Jackthalad - PSN: CHRYSTALBUDS// Toyota MR2 Spyder `99

8.26.105

Test drive result // total points= 107 pts

Max speed under bridge: 222 km/h = 138 mph =26 pts

Low speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle:9 Out: 9
Comments: Very good response at the wheel, easy to place , good grip. No oversteer ,eliminated by very good springs and dampers, and also the right LSD settings for the car. Right in the middle.

Medium speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle: 9 Out: 9
Comments: Safe car , stay in line, good front grip ,forgive more than most of the others MR2 Spyders.Few less retake out a corner than his cousins perhaps due to aerofoil and less power lost to PP.

High speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle: 9 Out: 9
Comments: Very good, here the foil help to maintain the car in line and you are confident to be more aggressive during some hard high speed turns on the Ring track.
Always steady ,efficient throttle control.

I stick to the ghost of the fastest MR2 Spyder with this car during all the lap, The 3 kmh less to speed in the last straight make the difference, only 1 sc.

8:21.914

Test drive result // total points= 107 pts

Max speed under bridge: 222 km/h = 138 mph =26 pts

Low speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle:9 Out: 9
Comments: Good turn-in, you have to be careful with sliding to not lose speed.

Medium speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle: 9 Out: 9
Comments: Precise steering, very stable and will run over curbs easily, can lose speed if you oversteer, hard to define a limit of traction, the car seem to be tamed too much and make it hard to predict loss of traction... thats where you will lose the most time.
Make the learning curve of the car longer.

High speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle: 9 Out: 9
Comments: Very stable from entry to exit, and will carry a good speed even with the wing, might wanted slightly more turn-in at high speed, may be slightly too much rear downforce, but its really easy to drive that way.

Very easy MR2 to drive, forgive a lot, slightly too tamed imo but was still a blast to drive!

jack u got the Lambo SV and Mclaren mp4c?

Nope never touched them, or even seen the mp4c, lol. I recently have wanted to tune the Mclaren though but have been busy doing other things. Why, you after a setup?

Those cars Jack in my opinion if tuned right could be potentially lethel weopens. They both suffer from crazy under/oversteer BUT the mclaren i think is the fastest acceleration cars its transmission stock is great.

I tried to tune it myself but i think its best around 600PP level higher then that it has to much power to control and tune out the over/under steer for me. I try to do the suspension but i confuse myself LOLz so i ended up with a car worse then stock LOL

Have a go? u might like it i GUARANTEE you 1 lap using those cars is 10000times more exciting then blasting around in a M3 :)

Ye I will deffo have a go in the mclaren. I dont normally race in cars with much more PP than 500, but recently joined a racing club which use cars with over 500pp on racing tyres, and yeah I bet it will be 100x more fun than an M3.

Atm only have 497cr so will have to do earn some cash to buy the thing, but I will deffo have a go in one once I can afford it.

The SV though not really my cup of tea. If you check Harvey wallbangers end of year tons of fun shootout, I remember there being one SV that handled so well, and was around 600pp ( ithink, maybe more). I recommend checking over there because the car was pleasure to drive.

Jack shall i send you my set-up mclaren? then you can dupe your account and keep it? and return it back to me? i think it will work.

You can if you want but I dunno when I will next be on the PS3. And I dont know how to dupe cars either:crazy:.

Still, send me the car if you want, I'm sure I can find out how to dupe cars etc. just by doing a search on google or youtube.

This was going to be an entry into the tons of fun shootout out last year but I scrapped it. After collecting a bit of dust in the garage I decided to take it out for a spin at the Nurburgring, after taking it for a wash down GT Auto's of course. Didnt need much adjustments from the settings i already had, just stiffened the front anti-roll bar for more response up front, and raised the height a little to get over the bumps better. My best time was 6:18.293 after 4 laps.

Hello Jack,

Im having a blast with your tune in the new Ring seasonal.
Im using your´s also Praiano´s also. They´re both awesome. 👍
Both deal with Ring bumps fabulous. Huge grip also.

Just need a little help on your setup:

Exiting the corners the car kind of "dies" and the revs get very low, so it takes a long time to recover speed. Dont know if its the LSD or the gearbox.

If you could have a quick look it would be awesome. 👍

Many thanks

Chat soon. :)

Hey, glad you like the tune, its one of my favourite cars on the ring.
I'm not quite sure I have the same issue with the lows revs on corner exit but It is most likely down the the gearbox and possibly the Initial Torque setting.

I just fired up my PS3 and GT5 and all my data is gone, cars, xp, cr, everything. So I wont be able to check this out right away.

Has anyone else had this happen to them before?

Edit: Nevermind, luckily my GT5 data was stored online. Although It dates back a month I have not lost everything. phew!!
I will see if I can find and fix this problem cbarbosa

UPDATED!!

Now is setup for the 650 Nurburgring Seasonal Event

 Many thanks mate. 👍

What a difference!!!

The car responds much better, the new gearbox setting is awesome.
Believe that the original problem was turbo lag and the ballast (I was running with high RPM turbo and 200k of ballast).

Either way, its much better now... 👍

Many thanks

Yep the new gearbox is tuned for mid rpm range and 650pp, before it was high rpm nd max pp.

What is you fasted lap in it? I think mine was a 6:20.xx. It took me three attempts to get gold as I was racing the Mclaren F1, which is stupidly quick, even in the hands of the stupid AI.

Also if you havent tried my new RX7 TC settings, I think you should. They are much better than the original.
👍

can i have a tune for the mini countryman, understeers slightly and a bit low on top end speed. specs are 295BHP 1159kg

At the moment...no, sorry but I dont have plans for it at the moment. And not really taking requests either.

Unless you got something of value to give in return I canni help you.

I believe my fastest was 6:22:xxx (not sure). Wasn´t driving very agressively though...
I like the Mclaren, its a very good car, but theres something about it i dont like it, dont know what really is... :indiff:

Going to have a look at the RX-7 TC, the car was awesome (one of my favs), now it must be  :D...
