Hmm I can change the time on the track to make it a night run. Or do u have a different track?????

Kado, I'm saddened that I didn't find this earlier. I've been glued to the gt academy thread for FAR too long

Count me in for sure. I'll need to get a car set up asap gimme a headsup when you got a lounge open?

BTW  for those created tracks. They are SICK. Have you tried making any on Mt. Aso?

Way too many questions in this post, but any restriction on car setup?

I'm gonna open up my lounge tonight, I got some new tracks to check out. 500PP street cars no other restrictions. I haven't made any on Mt. Aso but I think a couple people have.

I will start building 2 cars for these events.;)

Well got my DFGT today :dunce: :dunce: :dopey:
First i do not want to spam this thread about racing wheels - but the wheel is awsome compared to the budget crap i had before.
The game is a totally diff game as before.

Now i have a few questions i hope u can answer :)
Heh u might guess it i have a slight problem controling the car - even with my budget wheel it was easyer. I do not have a problem driving a normal race - when i break nice and accel nice and slow so the car does not spin out.
BUT when that happens - i am a lost case - i dunno what to do. I know i know it will come with practice - but do you guys turn the whole 900 degree and than back quick to catch the car???
And hows your force feedback set??? And do u set somehow the steering sensitivity? I have it at 0. Does it help to put it up higher?

A lot of questions - but i hope u will not hate me for them.
THX and cheers

Steering sensitivity only applies to gamepads so you're good there. I'd set your forcefeedback around 4 or so to start with so you can throw it around a bit easier. If driven properly, you really shouldn't need to turn the wheel more than 90 degrees in either direction (barring sloooow hairpins obviously).

Biggest secret with the dfgt is "sawing" at the wheel. If the back end starts to drift out jerk the wheel back and forth in the very middle to throw the weight, back to where you want it. Doesn't sound simple...but once you do it it makes sense...

I agree with what notmychoice says. Usually, if im past the point where i feel i can't recover from my back slipping, i just let my car do the 360 and continue on. Sometimes when you try to recover, you end up in a worse off position.

Thx for the tips guys!!!! I will give it a try. I really do appriciate all the input.
The TOUGE will be a hard one for me now.

Anyone up for some touge battles this weekend? I finished my rough draft of my home course last night and it's about 3 minutes or so. So any 500PP or less drivers want to come and compete. Just shoot me a friend invite with my GTP_Shigegaki tag and we'll get some runs in. I am currently tuning my Power House Amuse 370Z, although yes there isn't a Amuse 370z in the game. It's currently modeled after one of the many colors of 370Z's that the company put together. Yellow with Silver Volk Racing CE28N's :)

Other GTP members already wrote some stuff on the thread and I hope we could altogether get this list done so that we all can enjoy some Initial D theme Time Attack Challenges !

(and this list will be with the ones we already have : GTPlanet Time Attack Challenge Hosts Ultimate Car Lists)

All the best.

Have fun here !!!

Is this even a active group of people still? Seems like no one really posts anything on here.

Sorry I wasn't around to open up my lobby this last weekend. I ended up pulling a turbo 300zx motor and started to do a light overhaul so I was away all weekend.

I'm gonna open up my touge lounge tonight everyone is welcome.

I was not on as well as i am training my driving skills with my DFGT. But getting better and better - will start training on the TOUGE. But still nowhere so good to be able to compete yet.

But i will join any race just for fun!!!

I will have my lounge open from 7pm to 9pm PST tonight if anyone is interested in running some practice rounds. But if no one shows up within the first 30 minutes, ill close down and play some Mass Effect 2 :D
