Hi I'm trying to upload a game save for someone through PM, how do I do that?, is that option only available to paid subscribers? problem solved.

I can appreciate that they had a racer come out and play the game but when commenting on it's realism I tend not to pay attention to real racers who are at best, casual gamers, commenting on a games realism. I'd rather hear from a hardcore gamer that also rides/races; a rider that's played all the other bike games alot and not just the console ones....sorry, a bit of a rant there. :indiff:

I was encouraged by this from the article:
In a split-second, the rear tire hit grass, snapped violently, and high-sided the rider into the air.
Hope it's true they modeled high-sides in TT.

Do you know anything about motorcycles? I don't think so...

I have ridden different sport-bikes for ten years now, and i know how they accelerate....this is not accurate.First three gears are way too slow and then 4,5,6 gears have some sort of boost that does not exist in reality.

haha... u are rite. but this is only a game. but i think this game get it's point and nearly realistic to the original bike. this game only lack at the power of the bike. but overall, it's realistic.
like u said, i also already owned many bikes before includes the ZX12R, i also tried to wheelie the bike in this game. but i cant! also same with Hayabusa. the real bike like the ZX12R, u can wheelie in any gear.. so much power delivered from the engine to the rear wheel.:grumpy:

but overall.. i cant wait to own a PAL version of this game. i already owned the japanese version. i got bored because i cant explore the game because i dont understand. hahaha..

The only thing that I dislike about this game is the fact that you cant mono the motard bikes!:grumpy: When I think of Monos I think of Motard bikes! Its what their best at. Come to think of it, I dont think you can wheelie any of the naked bikes!

havent tried any of the motards but if you can get them to do a stoppie then pull back to do a wheelie, ive had the hayabusa up on one wheel.

Any chance you can post a pic of a Motard poppin' a mono with a bit of a 'how to'? I would be really greatful to anybody who can explain.:)

There are a few small problems in this game:

- Grip on grass is way too high. Ride at high speed on moderate lean on to the grass and most prolly you'll be alright.

- Wheelie is not possible on lower powered bikes, which is a shame, as on lower powered bikes, you can wheelie provided you play with the clutch, pull the handles....

- Those expecting GT4 levels of gameplay lenght will be dissapointed.

- The challenge mode to unlock bikes is mostly 1 v 1 and the most i've played so far is 1 v 2.

- The so called slow acceleration on gear 1,2,3 is the in-game power limiter so the bike wont wheelie. I believe there is no way to turn it off. And the starting from standstill is quite sluggish

Now for the good points:

- Graphics is good. Rider animation is excellent. You can ee the hands turn the throttle(part/full), feet changing gears..

- Ability to modify riding and cornering body position.

- Quite a substantial amount of bikes but no doubt will feel little to some as we've been spoilt by gt4's hugeee amount of cars. But still no motogp bikes tho.

- Refreshing to play gt4's tracks with a bike.

So, expect it to be better(i am) next time round.

My wishlish = More bikes, ability to play online with the gt series(how cool would that be...car vs bike)

Can't wait for the ps3 version:)

I am betting this is going to be a lot like GT1. This is a chance for PD to prove the viability of the game. Once it's on the market, they can then work on the next version which should have more bikes and more types of bikes. I'm betting cruisers will be in the next version. I'd love to ride a Kawasaki Mean Streak, Yamaha Warrior, Suzuki M109R, Harley-Davidson V-Rod, Victory Hammer, Triumph Rocket III, etc.

Hi
Hmmm sounds like they've made this game to cater for less abled players.
I would have thought that if you put the throttle on full in 1st on any sports bike 600cc above the bike would flip (which is what happens in real life) obviously it dosnt seem that way which is a shame, as its supposed to be a simulator. If you have played TT superbikes you will see what I mean, you have to be really gentle on the throttle especially on the 1000cc bikes, unfortunatly the game play has been dumbed down a bit, shame :(.

yeh i was just telling my friend yesterday that if the acceleration was like TT superbikes this game would be the best.but whateva...it's the first version. we'll see what they do next.

I agree with TsLeng, TT is promising for a first bike game.

Two fast questions:

1) Is it possible to play 1vs1 (two players) in 16:9 but with the screen divided horizontally?

2) In 1vs1 (two players), is it possible to ride other bikes than racing modified bikes?

I have a question. Can u acutally modify the bikes meaning: exhaust , engine internals and maybe even a turbo? also how much bikes are on the track at once???💡

you can add a performance exhaust and tyres and theres 4 bikes max on track, no standing starts. thats your whack:)

Can someone give me an indication of how the license tests compare to GT4, in terms of how easy they are to pass, and then Gold.

Depends on what level your playing it on, with pro mode off, its fairly easy, not so easy on pro mode unless you have good throttle control as bike wheelspins easily.

Easy. It is really easy. I mean exceptionally easy. This is one of the gripes I have with this game; It is ridiculously easy. The challenge mode is cool, but not challenging. The races are fun, but not difficult. And you can't set out to handicap yourself with your own created race because there isn't a pit option. -Sigh- It sure is pretty though.

yeh its not the most exciting game to play...but it sure is nice to look at. there should be a option for the skill level of the AI. i'm tired of passing them on straights and in turns.

Talk to me about rear brake control, do you ever use it to try to swing the rear end out a bit?

oh yes....and if you press too hard you will fly....trust me......some bikes are so nervous and sensible to bad braking techniques......and remeber....never brake if you aren't in a straight line.......or prepare to be very scared
:dopey:

Just preordered the game. I hope it's as good as the hype... I wonder if they have Ducati Monsters? It would be great to ride my real bike in the game....

I think that is like it was for GT site....it's impossible to put every bike in the site (for GT it was impossible too much.....more than 700 cars...) and for TT it's the same, you will have 125 bikes.....only few of them appear on the web site....

Keep the faith.....all bikes in japanese version will be in US version.....and who knows?....maybe there will be some extra bikes.......and we hope also in PAL vesion
:)
